SIX FEET UNDER IN CONCERT:
Death metal masters Six Feet Under are guaranteed to get audiences moshing with their savage sound. Frontman Chris Barnes has a voice straight out of the underworld, alternating between guttural growls a hair-raising screams. As he whips his floor-length dreads in unison with his metalhead devotees, the rest of the band hammers out doom-laden riffs and bone-rattling drum fills at lightning speed. Anyone looking for an extreme experience can rely on the heavier-than-hell death metal that Six Feet Under delivers on classics like “Revenge of the Zombie”, “Beneath a Black Sky”, and “Silent Violence” at their aggressive live shows on tour.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
In 1986 budding metal wunderkind Chris Barnes got his first shot at fronting a band at the tender age of 19. Within two years’ time his trademark guttural growls and high pitched croaks caught the attention of local Buffalo, NY band Cannibal Corpse. Barnes joined the groups and together they released a string of albums in the early ‘90s that helped shape death metal. Due to creative differences, the band parted ways with Barnes in 1995, allowing him to switch his focus to Six Feet Under. Working with former Obituary guitarist Allen West, Barnes had free reign over his lyrics on albums like Haunted (1995) and Warpath (1997). Though the roster has changed over the past two decades, Barnes has continued to support his savage vocals with the most accomplished metal musicians. Together, the band continues to thrill death metal fans with their insane concerts and solid recordings, including the 2015 album Crypt of the Devil.

Awesome concert, wasn't too crowded. SFU puts on a great show, DF was really good too. Hope they both come to town again!
Six feet under were great but did not seem to play long... maybe 45 minutes?
