BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Brothers Sjoerd and Wouter Janssen began producing music in 2001, quickly building a reputation in dance circles with their massive hardstyle and techno tracks. After enjoying a decade-long reign as one of the world's foremost hard dance production teams, the brothers began experimenting with house and electro productions. They scored their first big hit with their new sound in 2012 with "Cannonball", an anthemic vocal house track that landed in the Top 5 in the Netherlands. An impressive string of singles followed, including the Dutch Top 20 hits "Booya" and "Bad", the latter of which featured David Guetta and charted in eight European countries. In addition to their own collection of hits the duo has produced tracks for Chris Brown and Tiesto and released popular remixes of songs by Hardwell, Carly Rae Jepson, and Kid Cudi. A veteran live act known for their energy behind the decks, Showtek continue to thrill ticket buyers on their must-see tours.
