An early 2000's rave before government class with the coolest teacher in America. I've been a fan of Sharon since she first came on IG. She is inspiring and informative and best of all, hilarious. The time flew by and I easily could have sat a couple more hours and listened to a million more stories. The vibe was electric and the timing right before the election was perfection. I'd go and see her again in a heartbeat!
Expectations exceeded. I anticipated Sharon’s humor, positivity, and amazing story telling that I’ve become familiar with on her corner of the internet. What I didn’t expect was smiling for the entirety of the show, laughing until I cried, and feeling so empowered by the good I and fellow governerds can do. Thank you Sharon for being the internet’s best. Please have a convention and at the very least another book tour when your second best selling book is released.
One of the most uplifting, hopeful, funny, heartfelt, kind people I've had the pleasure and honor of meeting and hearing from; Sharon McMahon has an extraordinary way about her that draws you in and makes you feel like you're one of the "warm"ones.?? Sharon has created such a safe place to learn, grow, and build relationships. I know everyone says it, but I have truly learned more from her about history, government, law, and communication in the past 4 years than in my entire 52 years on the planet. There aren’t many people I’ll go see in Seattle midweek, but I’ll see Sharon any day, and if you have the opportunity to hear her speak, you should, too!
I think the best summary of Sharon’s book tour I heard was it is a dance party, history lesson, and a stand up comedy routine all mixed into one night. The crowd was so much fun and had the best time. You could see the excitement and feel it too. I’ve never been in such an inspiring event. Thank you Sharon for sharing your story and sharing “The Small and the Mighty” with us.

Went to see Sharon McMahon‘s book tour event for her book. The Small and the Mighty, it was incredible. Live DJ, so much energy and enthusiasm. Sharon brought so much inspiration and humor to the theater. It was an incredible time.
A truly amazing, inspirational, fun-filled evening! Sharon knows how to throw a dance party (I mean book tour). Beautiful theatre, 2000 new friends, dancing and hope. Who could ask for more?
I have been following Sharon McMahon since 2020 or before. I have learned so much from her podcast (Here's Where it Gets Interesting), her instagram account (sharonsaysso), Substack (The Preamble), and the private book club/fan group (Governerds). I bought a ticket to the highly anticipated book tour for "The Small and The Mighty"very early. I attended without a friend or spouse because I wanted to enjoy without concern for anyone else. The venue was great, parking was close (too expensive, but very handy), and the personnel were very friendly. The very best part was Sharon being Sharon, -- live - breathing the same air - in person - animated, friendly, knowledgeable, teaching, encouraging, explaining, enthusiastic, genuine, interactive, clear, honest - all the good things. I enjoyed the DJ and the Trivia game. Certainly a highlight of my adult life!
