We had a thoroughly enjoyable evening watching a concert in The Duck Room at Blueberry Hill with Mary Kate Walton and Scott Mulvahill. My only complaint was that there were no seats. Standing all night is becoming difficult for people our age! When we were kids it was no big deal.
The concert opened with the beautiful voice of newcomer Mary Kate Walton. I would like to see her again in a bigger venue with seats. In my opinion, she stole the show. She was so versatile, playing several instruments--she was just lovely! However, Scott Mulvahill was his usual fun self with a great repertoire of his old and new songs. The two singers' styles complemented each other so well.
Kudos, too, to the guitar player who accompanied Mary Kate Walton. They made sweet music together! Scott's guitar player and drummer were awesome too, as usual. They all contributed to a great evening of music.
It was a fun night out and I would go see them both again in a heartbeat. The encore was terrific with the phenomenal harmony of their voices. Great job!
