OK, seems past her vocal prime.

Celebrated country vocalist Sara Evans returned to the airwaves in 2013 with "Slow Me Down," the bombastic lead single from her highly anticipated seventh studio album. As great as her voice is on record, it's her live concerts that let her showcase what a pure and versatile storyteller she truly is. Ticket buyers are sure to be floored by her vocals, with a dynamic range that can go from angelic softness to full-voiced belts effortlessly, all done with an emotional heft that reaches into your soul and holds on until the very last note. Every tour she's unleashed has been a vocal tour de force that has to be heard to be believed. Her upcoming album, due in the first quarter of 2014, is sure to be another classic Sara Evans' journey through life and love and finds her reuniting with superstar Vince Gill, who sang with Sara on her first country number one hit, "No Place That Far."
A country sensation since her debut album in 1997, Sara Evans has kept listeners enthralled with her continuous release of quality material and award-winning performances. Her classic "Born to Fly" became her second number one single, and was responsible for Sara's first major award win at the 2001 Country Music Association Awards, where she was the most nominated artist of the evening. Her biggest song to date came thirteen years into her illustrious career with "A Little Bit Stronger," becoming Sara's first platinum-certified single. Time and time again, Sara Evans proves that a timeless vocalist with personal stories to tell will always find an audience to connect with.

Saw Sara at Spotlight 29 Casino 09/21. Great show in an intimate venue. Sara’s voice is still amazing, and her band and backing vocalist are really good. She played many of her hits (tho sadly not Suds in the Bucket) and some new material as telling interesting stories. The venue staff were excellent and there were 2 bars close by. It was an excellent show by a wonderful singer in a great venue
Spotlight 29 is a great place to see a show. The show room is well laid out with graduated seating so all seats are good seats. The sound quality is good. Restrooms are conveniently located on both sides. We have been here before and you use to be able to park and walk directly into the showroom area. Now you must use valet parking to walk directly in. Otherwise the free parking is in the garage and you have to walk through the casino to get to your destination. I’m sure this is a ploy to get people to gamble either before or after the show. Sara Evans has a powerful voice. She did an excellent job of mixing her hits with her current new album music and some fantastic cover songs. If you get a chance to see her perform live please go see her. You won’t be disappointed.
Fantastic Concert! Sara Evans sounded great and entertained the crowd! Clean venue, pleasant and helpful staff.
We were sitting near the back (cheap seats) and someone from the box office asked if we were willing to move up to 8 rows from the stage. So not really boy were we treated to a great show but had excellent seats to view it. The sound system at Spotlight 29 is very good which enhanced our experience.
I won't be going back to Spot Light Casino for concerts. The chairs are so tightly next to each other, we felt cramped. I'm sure most people would agree!
Great venue, great night. Sara and the band great. Younger fans standing up, swilling drinks, talking among themselves during a number, singing/shouting out the song lyrics on all the popular songs was not good. I know, that was "fun"when I was young but now annoying when you're not in a mosh pit setting.
Sara's show was a bit short, but she's a great entertainer and has a phenomenal voice. The biggest complaint was that there was no advertised opening act, and show was scheduled to start at 7. Opening act didn't start till 7:45 and Sara didn't come out until 9; 2 hours later than advertised. Potential bad weather would have suggested they start immediately at 7 to avoid issues. Luckily, it never materialized and show went off that night.
Concert time was 7 pm. It was at least 7:30 before an opening act came out. And too long of a break before Sara Evans appeared. Enjoyed the show completely, but advertise correct time. Example: gates open at __________ and show starts at ______. Also heard lots of complaints from those that bought drinks as they were leaving and weren’t allowed to leave with a water bottle or soda. Vendors should let patrons know of this rule to ease tension and frustration from patrons and so the unfortunate “gate keepers” don’t get chewed out. Loved the setting, comfortable seating and great show. We will be back.
Was an awesome concert! Sara was great! So much energy, she rocked the house! Great variety of music, her band was awesome! I hope to see her again sometime!
