First time seeing the band, even though I was a fan 30 years age with the release of Ignorance and Surf Nicaragua.
The venue was nice and clean, and easy to get to from the Harvard St. T Station (Green Line). Despite the fact that the venue had posted on its walls a sign stating that moshing and stage diving would get one ejected, the ordinance was not enforced.
Upon entering the hall, we proceeded to the merchandise table where we met the band and got their autographs. Nice, friendly guys. All original members too! Concert shirts were only $20! That was awesome, considering how much shirts had cost at the previous shows I went to this past summer, Iron Maiden & Deep Purple/Alice Cooper.
We were right up front at the stage for the show. The band was great and despite the occasional shove from those that choose to ignore the rules, we enjoyed their performance.
In conclusion, I would recommend both the venue and the band!
