My family and some friends went to the RiverCats game on Saturday Sept 21 and had a great time! RiverCats games are always fun. We enjoyed the Harry Potter theme and loved the fireworks at the end of the game. Perhaps some additional organization and parking options would be useful for busy games since parking took a lot longer than expected. I like how family friendly the games are and I also like that, relatively speaking, the games are fairly affordable for a family.
I was stopped in gridlock on the tower bridge. The game started. Fifteen minutes later I was still stopped in the same spot on the tower bridge. I could see the cars, who actually made it to the left turn toward the stadium, were also stopped for as long as I had been. I didn't see the point in continuing to sit there only to eventually get to where I would have pay money to park only to have missed at least half the game. I'll bet traffic was just as bad trying to leave after the game. I bailed and went home where I could watch the Giants game on TV. I moved to Sacramento county last year and this was my first and probably last attempt to attend a Rivercats game.
We have been to Sutter Health Park many times to watch the Rivercats and other events, the staff are some of the best people you will meet the park and facility’s are always clean my only suggestion is to improve on the quality of the concessions for the price you pay or reduce the cost. Thanks Sutter Health team and Dinger
The game was great and I liked getting the family pack. There was some confusion however in that the website said it included a hotdog and drink. However at the concession counter they said it was one or the other. Showed the guy the info we got and he WOULD NOT give us both! So we went to guest services and a very nice young lady went back with us and got what it said we should have. I think the ticket itself needed to say AND.
First River Cats game. Nice facility, game, and concessions. Can’t wait to go back.
Great game with a crazy ending! So sad Las Vegas’ parent club is leaving Oakland soon. Maybe the A’s will fall in love with Sacramento & decide to stay here instead.
Great fun at Sacramento Rivercats and $2 hotdogs on Tuesday nights!
The park is very clean and all the staff very friendly. We had excellent seats, and beautiful weather. My only complaint is that this minor league park has major league concession pricing. $14 beer and jumbo dogs, etc. Minor league parks used to be a better deal than the Majors, but not so much in this case.
Sunny day, good crowd, an enjoyable day! Prices,of food and drinks is , rather high, parking a breeze plenty of parking, spaces
