I was in a band that occasionally opened for Rosie at the AlRosa Villa back in the '80s, so I knew them and their music well. I took a date to this show that I've known for 30 years who also knew Willie Phoenix really well from a band she used to sing for in the '80s. For us it was a trip down memory lane and we had a great time! We also went to the afterparty in the basement of the A&R bar next door where Willie and crew played another hour of non-stop tunes while the audience dug it. The man is truly the Energizer Bunny lol.. We'll definitely go see them again if Rosie has another "reunion"!!
Been following these guys since the 80s...and they still rock!
The band was amazing! They get better and better every time I see them!
This band has been a part of my life forever it seems like. Love the music and the guys are a blast!!! Too bad we're all getting old. The lack of seating wasn't good on us old people. LOL
ROSIE ROCKED!!!!! AWESOME SHOW!!!! Wished it would've lasted all night . Made me feel like I was 19 yrs. old again.
I had not attended previous reunion shows. Very glad I went this time! The whole band sounded great, especially Carl's vocals. Transported me back to the days of Al Rosa. :)
Awesome show!! Best Reunion Show I have attended!! They Rocked it!!
What an awsome show it was. The band was great! Great jams..
Rosie is older (like most of us) but has retained their signature energizing performance. It"s unbelievable how much raw energy they produce. And, their sound-both music and harmonies- have only improved with age. Don't know how they do it. This wasn't a reunion, this was the birth of a new chapter. Hope they do produce that album they mentioned. Columbus. Ohio (the true heart of rock and roll) LOVES Rosie --and especially its lead singer and performer CARL SHELOR
