Hailing from Chicago, Illinois, Rise Against has been heralded by NME as "maybe the most important punk band on the planet." The multi-Gold and Platinum group (lead vocalist/guitarist Tim McIlrath, bassist/vocalist Joe Principe, lead guitarist/vocalist Zach Blair, drummer Brandon Barnes) has had seven top 50 records on the Billboard 200 chart, five of which reached the top 10. Rise Against's albums have touched on a spectrum of vital issues including voting rights, LGBTQ rights, animal rights, and environmental causes, and they're known for their wholehearted engagement with fans -- whether in an explosive live show setting or on record. The band's most recent album, Nowhere Generation (Loma Vista Recordings), shone a spotlight on the social and economical deck that has been stacked against the younger generations' pursuit of The American Dream. Debuting in June 2021 at the top of multiple Billboard charts (including #1 on Rock), its title track also reached to #1 at Rock radio. As a one year anniversary celebration of the LP, in June 2022 Rise Against surprise dropped a five-song EP, Nowhere Generation II -- a propulsive, five-song follow-up that served to continue a critical dialogue between the band, their fans, and the world at large. After spending the better part of 2023 and 2024 in the studio, the band is primed for an exciting year in 2025.
Second time I've seen this band. They got there act together with many great songs. Great memories
Great show, great venue, fast entrance and exit, started on time, just a Little more volume on the vocal’s next time.
Rise Against can come back to Portland any time! It was worth the wait.
Rise Against was great would definitely recommend seeing them. Their opening act Spiritual Cramp And L. S Dunes were pretty horrific. Other than a few moshers just wanting to mosh everyone else was sitting around awkwardly.
Hadn't seen rise against live in 13 years and boy did that bring back some memories. I love this band!!! Worth the money for the ticket and the merch!! And the Brooklyn paramount is absolutely gorgeous. It feels like an opera house but without the seats. Spent extra money for club access which was worth it to be on the balcony and have room to dance! Shout out to the security guys who help the crowd surfers safely get down. Will go back to the venue and will be sure to see rise against when they're in NYC!!!
Me and my 16 year old attended rise against at the pageant in st louis !we had a great time we got a pic from travifrom LS dunes and joe from rise against hand my son a pic and fist bumped him !absolutely great show and set list .
The venue was great I thought. I figured since their from Chicago they would have had a better setlist. It was good show not great, not like they were in 2017 in Minneapolis. They left out a lot of good songs for songs that were alright. I personally and it's my opinion felt it could have been better and a little longer. I had a good time, just wanted a awesome time.
The show was absolutely amazing. I love that they played a lot of their older stuff that I grew up listening to. The crowd was cool and venue was perfect. I wish they had a meet and greet experience, but besides that, I think it was amazing.
Best show I've ever been to. I made my point. Best show I've been to.
10/10 recommend. Salt shed is epic! But rise against is incredible. they are truly one of the best artists I’ve seen live.
One of my favorites! It was so great to see them at a sold out show if their hometown! The show had a lot energy and played a perfect mix of punk and their slower songs.
I wasn’t familiar with their catalog but went with friends that were. They had great energy and really rocked. My friends were really thrilled at all the deep cuts they were playing. It was a great show and I realized I knew more of their music than I thought. Definitely a fan now.
I've been to a lot of shows this year, but Rise Against was one of the best! High energy, good fan interaction, great crowd. It was standing room only on a Wednesday night! I'm so glad I made the 3 hour drive to see them!
I’ve seen Rise Against 7-8 times. They always put on a great show but last tour Denver was the last show and this show we were the first. Quite a difference in energy, understandably. Really great show and the Fillmore was a fun venue
Mon ? Oct 14 ? 6:00 PM Fillmore Auditorium (Denver) Rise Against Smashed It! TIGHT Show!
Rise Against did not disappoint with a Punk focus for the whole concert and three bands!
Rise against was excellent. Lots of energy and lots of fun. But the sound was terrible. Vocals turned too low and the sound too high for a small indoor venue. Hard to enjoy when you can't hear what they are singing very well
I love Rise Against and was super excited to be able to make another show! They played a lot of the bangers but seemed to have cut the show a little short. I paid a lot for my ticket and got a little over an hour of Rise Against. It was 10:13pm when the lights came on. Their set started right at 9. I just wanted a little more bang for my buck.
I have never seen a show as amazing or even close to what seeing rise against. They have been my favorite band since I heard the music the first time. They sound even better live than prerecorded. This was truly a once in a life time unforgettable experience I will cherish the rest of my life. Getting to see my favorite band and have them put on such an amazing show will forever be one of my top memories. I cannot say enough about how great they are.
Rise Against did a good job! I had a lot of fun seeing them live!
