Richard Ashcroft Tickets

I am a huge fan of one of the best bands of all time…The Verve. I never saw them live in concert, but I did get a chance to see Richard Ashcroft In concert when he played in LA 5 years ago. He is one of the best singers ever and nothing but pure talent can be said about the band and their songwriting. Richard Ashcroft put on a great show, and his shiny jacket was a classic moment to starting the show. 20 years after the Verve’s last Album and Richard Ashcroft still maintains his amazing vocals.

I had never seen the Verve live, but was a big fan of their biggest hits. Plus, Chris Martin has been quoted as saying that Richard Ashcroft is one of the best singers on the planet, so I thought I should check him out. Bittersweet, indeed. You can't fault an artist whose voice has succumbed to Father Time, and you can't fault an artist from trying to make a living (and what a cool silver glitter jacket!). Both were evident here. It was a decent show -- but I was a bit taken aback by the bravado, strutting and mic dropping antics. Maybe RA was from the Liam Gallagher School of Ego, but it didn't quite work 100% for me. Still, the folks sitting around me were thoroughly enjoying themselves, so the fan base apparently is still there. Overall, I was glad I went, but I also was glad I didn't spend too much money to see what is still an important figure in 90s Brit Rock.

Richard Ashcroft is a Great man! This was my second time seeing him, the first was in the 90's with the Verve. I wish he would have played more songs, but the show was great overall.

Such an awesome crowd for an amazing performer. The theater was great, plenty of space to enjoy and my view wasn't blocked by the super tall guy in front of me. Would definitely recommend for someone who loves great music!

This is an artist I have been waiting my whole life to see perform here in San Diego. Its been awhile since The Verve was together and they have broke apart quite a few times. What is beautiful is we had the pleasure to hear both of Richard's phenomenal solo work along with music from his days as the frontman for The Verve. We were all in for a treat on April 1st, 2017. I hope I have another opportunity to see Richard in person and hopefully reunited with the Verve. If not, I want to see him put on an intimate concert with his fans as he did here in San Diego last week. Thank you - Erik

Great show put on by a very underrated performer. Highly recommend. This Is How it Feels was amazing as well as many other tunes, new and old.

April 1st, 2017 Spreckels Theatre Live performance by Richard Ashcroft was spot on! My 20 plus years wait to finally hear that voice was well worth it. I guess somethings do get better with age. Got to hear a few of my all time favorites; Sonnet, Lucky Man, These Drugs Don't Work, Space & Time and this one Bitter Sweet Symphony. Cheers Richard for your songs helped created a soundtrack to my life.

He did a long set and tons of great songs. Lots of Verve tracks and most of his hit solo stuff. His voice was on point and a damn good show all the way around!! The sound guy did a solid job as well.

One of the best concerts I've seen, best voice, performance & songs Cover of Prince 'little red corvette' amazing! I will try to see him every time I can... You can feel the energy man!!!
