About
Redwood is a new musical coming to Broadway in January 2025. Marking the long-awaited return of Idina Menzel to the stage, the show tells the story of a woman whose picture-perfect life is suddenly disrupted by an event that alters everything she’s built. Driven far from the familiarity of home, she finds herself at the foot of California’s ancient redwood forest and embarks on a journey of self-discovery that will change her forever.?
Written and directed by Tony-nominated playwright Tina Landau with music by Kate Diaz, Redwood is a “visually stunning and immersive” (San Diego Magazine) new production that “feels like the American musical of tomorrow” (San Diego Union-Tribune). Redwood will open at the Nederlander Theatre.?

Getting there
The Nederlander Theatre is located in New York City's Theatre District at 208 West 41st St between 7th Avenue and 8th Avenue. There is no designated parking outside the venue, however there are numerous parking options nearby. Click here for a Google Maps display of the various parking options around Times Square. Taxis and other car services can also stop outside the theater for drop off and pick up.
The Nederlander Theatre is accessible via the 1, 2, 3, 7, N, Q, R, W and S trains at the Times Square—42nd Street station (exit at 42nd St and 7th Ave) and the A, C and E trains at the 42nd St-Port Authority Bus Terminal station (exit at 41st St and 8th Ave).
