BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Hailing from the sleepy beach city of Santa Barbara, California, Rebelution formed just a few short steps from the beach — a fact that's reflected in their laid back brand of Reggae fusion. After rising to local success with tireless touring up and down the California coast, the band made their album debut with 2007's Courage to Grow, which was selected as iTunes Editor's Choice for Best Reggae Album of 2007. 2009 follow-up Bright Side of Life would prove an even bigger success, landing at No. 1 on the Top Reggae Albums chart and leading to slots at festivals including Bonnaroo and Lollapalooza. With a new album in the works and extensive tour dates in 2014, Rebelution is poised to achieve even greater heights.

by VEEVEE on 8/20/24Shoreline Amphitheatre - Mountain ViewMy night was phenomenal. I meant new friends and kicked it with old friends. The vibes were great. There was bubbles blowing, Bright lights. Good food. Good March. Good drinks. Everything was just great all around. I danced non-stop. I took pictures. I watched people fall and the little potholes on the hill and I laughed my butt off. I Sang along from the top of my lungs and I just really enjoyed my freaking day and night. It was awesome! I can't wait to do it again

by ab on 8/20/24Shoreline Amphitheatre - Mountain ViewThe experience was not great at all, my group and I got lawn tickets which we’ve never had any issues with but this time was not great at all. The speakers were not being used for the lawn so we barely heard anything which took alway from the experience and just overall vibing to the music. We have seen rebelution many times and know their performance is not the problem. It was horrible because no speaker was being used for the lawn which made it hard to hear them well.

The sound system was one of the best we have heard, and the light show that was going one during the performance added to the atmosphere. The bands that opened for them were new to us, but we now have a love for their music as well. The crowd was friendly and all enjoying themselves. The seats we got were comfortable and affordable as well. Overall, nothing to complain about! We will definitely go to another Rebelution show again and go to another show at the Shoreline Amp. again! :)
