The unassuming Randy Rogers Band has experienced significant success since its small-town Texas days just a few years back. Rogers, who helms the namesake Red Dirt act, grew up playing music before joining forces with friends and releasing their first effort in 2002. In the years since, the band skyrocketed from performing local concerts outside Austin, TX, to tackling tours with legendary acts like Willie Nelson and the Eagles, as well as country stars such as Dierks Bentley, Miranda Lambert and Gary Allan.? Randy Rogers Band enjoyed massive ticket and album sales in a single year while still an industry newbie following their major-label debut, “Just a Matter of Time.” That 2006 collection and the three subsequent releases have all landed in the Top 10 of Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart. The country outfit’s 2013 set, “Trouble,” surfaced in April, just one month after the band opened for King of Country George Strait at the Houston Rodeo.
