Queensryche Tickets

I’ve been waiting to see Queensr?che for almost 3 years as there last scheduled show in the area was cancelled due to illness., They did not disappoint. Todd’s vocals along with Whip and Stoney’s licks were spot on for the whole show. Great hearing those older songs live once again. Jared James Nichols led things off and we were super impressed with his talent. The venue while cozy and great sound isn’t my favorite. Standing room events are always a hassle and it proved itself out when a fight broke out behind us because some guys were trying to move in front of other who had been standing there for a while.,my 2 cents

The "Origins Tour"was a good concept in theory, but didn't work well in practice. The EP was fantastic, but a complete playthrough or Warning was mind-numbing. Most of the deep cuts were plodding and unworthy of a revisit. The band is talented, but Todd La Torre is no Geoff Tate. He can hit the high notes, but his voice is thin - he doesn't have the timber or true range of Tate. The venue was OK, but follows tired format with a GA floor and a few seats around the mezzanine, most of which feature a view obstructed by the person in front of you.

It totally rocked. It would have been a totally awesome night if they would have played "Silent Lucidity"for their final oncore. Great venue! Really liked Tannenhill music hall. I forgot the opening act name. But they rocked as well. Hopefully when Queensrhyc comes back to the Dallas/Ft. Worth area they will play all their hits. I will definitely want to see them again.

Super talented and great vocals but let's get back to what people want to hear We heard around 8 or 10 songs before we heard one people came to hear (take hold of the flame) Please go back to the good stuff we all know and live and sing to. We left early and hope that for the people who stayed that they were able to hear the classics and sing along.

Phenomenal. I’ve see QR at least a dozen times but this may have been an all time best live performance. Best concert this year and it’s one of the most memorable in my lifetime. They just sounded that damn good. I enjoyed it so much, I’d consider traveling overseas to catch another one on the European leg of this tour. Huge thanks to the band for making this tour happen. You guys are as good as ever right now.

I was a little skeptical of the venue. Specifically; not being able to see because the floor in the Orca ballroom is flat and the stage only slightly elevated. The venue was terrific!! The security folks let you roam about a bit which was great. The seats were pretty close together. Queesryche was just amazing!! A little spendy but worth it!!

My voice is shot from screaming. My ears are ringing and my neck is stiff from headbanging! I enjoyed them more last night than when I saw them in 1989 on the Mindcrime tour. Todd La Torre amazingly belted all the high and low notes with great sustain. The origins tour is a must see!

Last year, I was released from prison after 26 years behind bars. Last Sunday, I thanked God to see that I'm not the only old rocker who still has the strength to lay down Thunder. Eddie Jackson is still the man!! Thanks guys, you renewed my hope for the future of American Rock. ...Awesome!! I hope to incorporate your strength into MY songs. When you guys first took the stage I felt that strength in the music, and you were true to it. Thanks again brothers. I play bass, & my lines are similar to Eddie's, but seeing you in person gave me new perspectives into Eddie's talent. I'm creating new music that will carry this strength. See you in rocker heaven!! Hopefully by then my songs will be well known enough for you to find strength in them the same way I incorporated YOUR talent and strength from you last Sunday (Nov. 3rd) in Salt Lake City. Thanks again! After 26 years in prison, I needed it.

The sets included no songs that I even recognized. Todd Le Torre even said "if you came to hear Silent Lucidity you'll be disappointed as we aren't playing it tonight." None of their classics.. after an hour and 25 minutes I finally grabbed my jacket and headed for the exit. I won't ever pay to see them in concert again. They need to realize that most of us come to hear the classics that made them great back in the early 1990's... not 2 hours of songs that are mediocre at best.

My 19-year old daughter and I saw Queensryche at the Myth. First off, I’ve been a Queensryche fan since my teen years, and let me tell you…Todd LaTorre was the best replacement that Queensryche could have found. He saved the band. Their performance at the Myth is evidence of that, and Queensryche put on one heck of a show. I knew when I bought the tickets that this was the “Origins” tour, and that they were only playing their first two albums. So if you’re expecting stuff from Empire or OMC, forget it (Geoff Tate will be coming to the Varsity Theater to play OMC in April). That wasn’t a huge deal for me, because they were great! Yes, it would have been nice had they played Silent Lucidity or Jet City woman, but they did play Empire and Eyes of a stranger, which were enough. No one can ever replace the person those songs were written for, or the mastermind guitarist, but give them a chance! They’re that good.

The concert took place at the Hollywood Casino in Charlestown, WV. Once Queensryche started to play we realized that for the relatively small area, the sound was too big. My wife couldn’t take it and left to play slot machines. She told me later that she could still hear the band outside of the auditorium. I was wearing earplugs but they really didn’t help. However, I hung in there. I didn’t recognize any of their songs until the last two when they played “Empire” and “Eyes of a Stranger”. They announced midway that they were playing their debut album cover to cover, which is why I didn’t recognize any of their songs. I am a fan but I guess I’m not THAT big of a fan…

Unclear why the singer left the stage in between his vocal parts; presumably needed hot tea. ?????♂? Would love to have heard a little more of a mix from various albums. Already basically saw this set a couple years back during Judas Priest tour. Enjoyed overall!

I really like Queensryche, but I guess I only know their more popular songs, and ones that are played routinely on Sirius XM's Hair Nation. Don't get me wrong, the music was good, but I had to wait until the very end to hear only two songs that I knew. They even stated during the show that they would NOT be performing "Silent Lucidity", which in my opinion, is their most popular song of all time. I wish I would have known the set list prior to purchasing my ticket, because I might not have gone. Bummer!

Just realize that this is the "origins tour"and only has the songs from their first two albums in the early 80's. If you were looking forward to hearing anything fro operation mindcrime album you can forget it. I like some of their old stuff but this is their first two albums in their entirety and lets not kid ourselves about who got rights to their best music when the lead singer left...

They were amazing. The venue was intimate. What a great night. I was home by 10 pm. ??

Great musical performance by one of the best bands of the era. Intimate venue that works great for bands like this. Keep 'em coming!

In an unusual way. They choose not to play some of their most well known songs. They explained during the concert that they were not going to play their hits, only deep cuts. (Their words) That's fine and well for the hard core fans, and there are many. But even the hard cores usually come with someone like a spouse, friend, S.O., or whatever that would enjoy hearing a few songs they know, instead of not recognizing one song. It was disappointing to not hear Silent Lucidity, a major hit of theirs, and I'm sure they realize that it was most likely the only song that everyone in the venue would know, and was waiting for. The same disappointment resonated with many people as we were making our way to the exit. Also, a number of people left early, probably for the same reason. I have seen Queensryche countless times over the years, and look forward to future shows. But I will be cautious about what is on their set-list, and decide if I want to attend. Aside from that issue, the show was great. The lighting, and especially the sound, was superb. I understand that they have the right to play whatever they choose, but please keep the rest of us in mind too. Thanks for your time.. Rock On.

This was our first time at the venue but it was great and intimate. The show was amazing and Queensryche and Jared James Nichols brought their "A"game and gave amazing performances. We thank them for putting Johnstown on their schedule.

Queensryche was very, very good. The performance was spectacular and the band was right on point. Great venue too. Small, yet easy to get in and out and was able to be close to the band. This is the closest I’ve ever been able to get to a band during a concert. Definitely top notch and worth every penny. Many thanks to Queensryche for coming to smaller, rural venues!

Played the Warning album to perfection with a few other songs….Just a great show!! They rocked Nashville for sure!!
