During the presale period, Ticketmaster promoted the event as the Usher concert. As a longstanding Usher fan, my husband and 3 girlfriends purchased tickets. When it was too late, we learned it was a Jingle Ball event. Jelly Roll and One Republic were great. Usher was last, arrived on stage with the arrogant flair of an out of touch artist, who cared little about the fans who paid hard earned money to attend the show. He had no band, 3 backup singers, experienced technical difficulties with his DAT machine, asked the audience to help him sing 2 minutes of 5 older songs and left the stage. I listen to several musical genres and have attended thousands of concerts. This is the first time, in my opinion and experience, an artist felt the audience should have felt lucky that he graced us with his presence. This is my personal opinion and belief as a regular concertgoer, Usher was TERRIBLE, his show was disappointing. It dimmed the light of the holiday season and unfortunately what will be my last concert in 2023. I still love his songs but will never pay to see him again.
