Pulley Tickets

I went to the Regent Theater show in Dec 21 also and was totally brokenhearted. By Pulley bailing last minute. I didn’t hear the announcement but the MC dropped a few hints. I kept thinking ‘O they’re gonna close.’…. then the lights came on and everybody went home.

Thats it. Pulley and strung out both pulled out last minute and we weren't notified or given any kind of recourse to get our money back.

For starters, both Strung Out and Pulley backed out, so it’s hard to leave a review on the event that didn’t really even happen. I found out about Pulley backing out at the actual show, so that was fun. Strung Out I found out about as we arrived there. The opening bands were fine. Just hard to make a drive all the way to DTLA for the opening bands only.

2 bands dropped at the last minute, not as many people showed up, and only 3 opening bands played.

Strung out and Pulley didn’t show up. Sound was terrible. Tickets were being given away for free just to get people in the door. We were told since it was a “charity” show that we should (I’m paraphrasing here) suck it up if the bands we were there to see didn’t play. It was overall a really disappointing experience.
