Phoenix Suns History
As Arizona's original professional sports franchise, the Phoenix Suns were established in the NBA in 1968 and for the last 30 years have been entertaining fans in downtown Phoenix at Footprint Center. The rich history of the franchise includes some of most memorable teams in NBA history, including the 1975–76 "Sunderella Suns," the 1992–93 team that featured Charles Barkley and reached the NBA Finals, and the "Seven Seconds or Less" era teams, during which Steve Nash was twice named the league's MVP.
Enshrined in the Suns’ Ring of Honor are Alvan Adams, Barkley, Tom Chambers, Jerry Colangelo, Walter Davis, Cotton Fitzsimmons, Connie Hawkins, Kevin Johnson, Dan Majerle, Al McCoy, John MacLeod, Nash, Joe Proski, Dick Van Arsdale and Paul Westphal.
The Phoenix Suns had a successful 2020–21 season, winning the Western Conference and narrowly falling in the NBA Finals to the Milwaukee Bucks. The Suns ended the 2021–2022 season with a franchise record of 64 wins and finished with the NBA's best record by eight games above the second best, the league's largest differential in 22 years. They also made back-to-back appearances in the Western Conference semifinals in 2022 and 2023.

Atmosphere was amazing in the seating area we watched the game from. The seats were comfortable. Great job from all the staff of the footprint center :)
Had a great experience with it being my birthday and got the WIN
I haven't been to a Suns game in a little while. It was very cold in the facility. It looked as if new seating was put in. The cupholders for your drinks were in an awkward position alongside the right hand bottom side of your seat. My daughter's drink kept pressing up against my leg and I am not a big person. The next morning my back was so sore from sitting in those seats. The game itself was fine and enjoyed it mostly except for the people sitting behind us who kept hitting our heads with those blow up things. Will be some time before I will want to come back.
Great game! Surprised the Grizzles got the win without Ja Morant, but it was a close game the whole time.
I had such a great time at the suns game! Will be going again!
Entertainment value great. Seats in venue are terrible, they were built for kids. Way to close together, made for a bad experience
From the venue to the game, totally enjoyed every minute. Nothing better than watching live than on tv. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. I definitely will come back.
Amazing experience! Can’t wait for the next opportunity to go back!
For as much as we paid to see to see the Suns play the Clippers, i was disappointed to watch them play half speed for 3 1/2 quarters before anyone started playing. Give the fans 100% from the tip off.
During the Phoenix Suns home game, loud music was blasted not just during time-outs, but while the game was being played, so fans couldn’t hear the wonderful sounds of the game itself, & players couldn’t communicate. The players and coaches have commented that they hate it as well. It seems like those playing the music do so to make themselves feel important. Save it for breaks in play.
best event ever saw luka bullying the suns once again
Just wondering if any other Suns Fans sit and Freeze to Death as they try to watch the Suns play home games! Is there a reason the Arena is so Cold during games? I always dress as if I'm attending a football game out of doors. Seriously!
An absolutely wonderful experience! Seats were amazing and staff was great! Footprint center is an amazing venue!
I enjoy every Suns game live. The time outs & halftime show was great. Have a hard time getting up to nose bleeds seats, but enjoy every minute. Need to get info on Handicap seating due soon. Thanks for amazing games
Having now been to multiple NBA games after traveling through the US from Australia, I can honestly say the Suns games at Footprint were by far the best experience and atmosphere and easiest place to access out of them all!! Can’t wait to go again.
I loved the arena and set up. The game itself had too many fouls, but overall it was a nice experience.
The experience was amazing! The seats were amazing! Love the SUNS!!
The game is super enjoyable and love that you get to go to the game 2 hours before!
We had a great time at the Suns-Nuggets game. We were Upper level, but the view was great. My only negative was the price of the food. For one order of nachos, one eight inch pizza, one hot dog, and three sodas, we paid $99. Love the NBA, had a great experience, but won't buy food/drinks next time.
Haven’t been to a Suns game in years. It was a good game and the arena is great. My only issue was how loud the music was and the type of music. I guess I’m older than the demographic they are after. I immediately wished I had brought ear plugs. I’ll probably just keep watching from home.
