The show was fantastic! As an out of towner, it was slightly difficult to find the Gladys Davis Theater...which is the only reason I did not award 5 stars.
It was such a fun show. The actors were fabulous and seemed to be enjoying themselves as much as the audience was enjoying the show.
I felt like there was a lot more things they can do to improve this show, they definitely need more people for the cast because it makes it really confusing when you’re watching the same cast from “one” ship become the cast for the “other” ship. Basically most of the characters had double roles and you just didn’t know when they switched. Also each character was narrating and I also felt like the show could’ve been a lot better if they had a single narrator. As I said, this show need a lot of improvements. I left during intermission because I was very confused and was so disappointed with the show.
I went with 4 other people to see this performance, and the actors did a fine job and were about as good as any , however it was kind of promoted as something to bring kids to and I would have not. It was a little hard to follow and the GAY innuendo through out the performance was unnecessary. Only one person in our group enjoyed it and the dancing mermaids in the middle of the show was REALLY ODD.
I loved it!!! Second star to the right and straight on till broadway!
Loved the venue hated the whimsical comedy. Nothing like I expected. Did not find the comedy style entertaining at all
The first act was a bit slow to grab me, just hang in and all will be rewarded. Clay Cartland entertains!!
Unfortunately, although very clever, this play and venue combo left me very cold. Much more "campy" than expected, female lead difficult to understand, and lack of any elevation of seats behind the first row in this table arrangement layout made for a sub optimal experience. Skip this one.
You will soar to the stars when you see the superb production of PETER AND the STARCATCHER! This ensemble is so tight and they are all giving 200%! Stick with it .....The first act is a little long but when you see all 3 Acts you will be happy you went!
