Since their 2017 inception, Pacific Avenue have seen a meteoric rise. From their debut EP ‘Strawberry Skies’, which yielded the instant hit ‘Something Good’ to their 2021 masterstroke single, Easy Love, which garnered critical acclaim and commercial success.
Taking cues from influences rooted in classic rock & roll such as The Beatles and Rolling Stones, as well as Australian luminaries Jet and Silverchair, the Gerringong-based indie rock quartet produce an interconnected sound that is virtuously and intuitively their own.
These guys killed it live. Definitely one of the better bands I’ve seen in the last 10 years. If they can continue to make the kind of music they have made so far, they will continue to grow in popularity. Glad I got to see them for their first NYC show.
