Ozo is one of those bands that ensures it’s audience is having a great time. We’ve been following them for two decades, and the quality of their shows is always top notch. This band has remained audience friendly and down to earth throughout their success, and they always put on a great show. This show was unfortunately shorter than normal, which is likely due to the venue’s mall location.
This newer venue, The Canyon Montclair, is tricky to describe. It’s very nice inside, and also spacious, but there are restrictions about when to arrive and how much you have to spend that detract from the enjoyment. The food menu is like wedding entrees, with no appetizers or the kind of bar food you expect to eat at a live music event. It’s all fork & knife and cloth-napkin style. The service was very friendly and accommodating but the food was slow to come out and drinks also took too long. The “dinner theater” part of the experience doesn’t seem dialed in just yet.
