Of the Trees on Tour
Of the Trees is the musical project of producer and visual artist Tyler Coombs. Originally from Portland, Maine, and now based in Denver, Colorado, Coombs is gaining international acclaim and becoming known as one of the most innovative producers working in electronic music today.
Frequently mixing low-fi samples and electronic blips with sounds from nature such as bird calls, Of the Trees' tunes are both energizing and meditative at the same time. His acclaimed 2019 EP Tanglewood features soothing, down-tempo songs filled with innovative samples and mechanical and organic sounds that manage to sound like they perfectly belong together.
Of the Trees' ambitious 2022 full-length album, The Tale of Elegos, boasts elements of electronic, ambient and hip-hop music, also featuring guest vocalists and mesmerizing soundscapes. Once again, digital and natural elements sit comfortably alongside each other, making us wonder where one ends and the other begins.
Don't miss your chance to catch this mastermind in action when Of the Trees comes to a city near you.
Of the Trees Live in Concert
Electronic producer Of the Trees, born Tyler Coombs, began making music in the early 2010s. Although you might not be able to guess it from listening to his down-tempo electronic soundscapes, his love of music began with heavy metal when he was a kid. A friend taught him to play the guitar and introduced him to artists including System of a Down and Slipknot. Apparently he was so enamored with Norwegian black metal that he listed the names of his favorite black metal bands in the bio of his eighth-grade yearbook.
Coombs loved the lore and storytelling that surrounded a lot of his favorite heavy metal music, and he wanted to take those elements into the hip-hop and bass music he began creating.
Of the Trees gained notoriety in 2015 when Bassnectar released a remix of the tune "One Thing" also featuring Psymbionic and Christina Soto on his album Into the Sun. Since then, Of the Trees has been making a name for himself as an innovative and in-demand producer who's both creative and vulnerable in the way he expresses himself through his music and visuals onstage.

the show was great the venue was beautiful. my only complaint is not enough information on what was allowed inside the venue
Was expecting alot more energy for the price I paid for the ticket. The whole crowd was dead and we ended up leaving early because we were so bored. Wouldn't see again. Dudes lucky the openers made up for it.
Of The Tree is one of my favorite artists, so I was really looking forward to seeing him, and he killed it. My favorite part of Freakfest! The room in the building everyone was in was superrrr hot & miserable (little to no air flow), but he kept playing with no complaints! I would definitely go see him again, he seems like a genuinely great person so I’d love to support!
The production, audio, and experience were awesome! Of The Trees killed it and having at the Tabernacle made it more memorable!
The BEST show the tabernacle has ever hosted. Of the trees is beyond talented and is going to be blowing up after this tour! My favorite music producer, period.
The show was a blast, the tabernacle was packed!! Thanks :)
Huge thank you to the venue for being so accommodating to my group. We had an awesome time and the waitresses were so attentive!! Of The Trees put on a magical show. He blew it out of the park with this immersive experience!!
