NE-YO has worked his way into the upper reaches of R&B’s most distinguished class, both as a songwriter for artists such as Beyoncé, Rihanna and John Legend and as his own vocal force. NE-YO’s solo projects have landed in the Top 10 on the Billboard 200 six times. He has effortlessly composed hits for other artists, starting with Mario’s 2004 single “Let Me Love You,” which hit No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and remained there for nine weeks. Following his signing to Def Jam by then-president/CEO JAY-Z, NE-YO released his debut album In My Own Words in 2006. The album debuted at the top of Billboard 200 in the same week that its lead single “So Sick” topped the Billboard Hot 100. His 2007 follow-up Because of You became his second Billboard 200 No. 1, and netted his first Grammy Award for Best Contemporary R&B Album. He earned two more Grammys for his single “Miss Independent” from 2008’s Year of the Gentleman. by Shish on 9/16/24The fact that 98% of us were on our feet the whole time tells you we had a TIME! The gym class heroes were absolutely amazing and they looked so good. When Ne-Yo hit the stage it was game on. He gave us his greatest hits and threw in a few new ones which were good too. Him and his dancers performed so well .. He can still move like we’re still in the 2010s LOL. Bottom line anytime Ne-Yo is in town am going… could never get tired of him..

He was a ball of energy, matched with the energy of his group of back up dancers. The choreography was crisp and he performed his past hits and soon to be hits. During this concert he was presented with the key of the city from the mayor of Las Vegas, recognizing his collective musical body of work. Well deserved. If you are in Vegas, do yourself a favor and check out an ultimate showman, Ne-Yo. You will not be disappointed.
