The Snap and Montana Wildaxe gave us an evening of high energy, great music and full on fun. Can't wait until the next show!
This was the largest Attended event at the Queen since CoVid. Montana Wildaxe was on fire ?? Fantastic !!!
Montana Wildaxe was as good as ever. One of the best regional acts you'll see. I was less a fan of the alternating sets format with The Snap, who weren't even on the bill when I purchased the tickets, or even now if you look above. The show was much better in past years when it was all Montana. The venue is a wonderful old theater, with fantastic sound and lighting. But drink prices were outrageous. Insane when bottled water costs the same as an already overpriced beer.
So, I am partially disabled. I am generally OK while standing, but was having a rough night. I was leaning against the bar, when a bouncer came and told me that i couldn't stand there, even though the entire, and I mean, entire, bar had people leaning against it. He moved me along, but when I questioned him about all the other people, he just reiterated that I couldn't stand there. He wouldn't even listen to anything that I said. Had I known there was NO seating, I probably would have skipped the event, even though the band are old friends.
The band was great. Great set list played well. Only complaint was I thought the show was advertised as 8-11, but we were being rushed out the door. Also would have been nice to know the 5th st parking garage was closed
I knew this would be a sell out so I made sure to get my tickets early! My only complaint is that Montana Wildaxe doesn't play out nearly enough any more. The venue was ok - I liked it much better when they play downstairs. Drinks are pricey and with the garage next door closed parking is a pain.
I was so excited to see that a Halloween Event was happening for a more "mature" crowd over. It was fantastic! We had such a blast! I hope that this is a new tradition that continues as the Halloween Loop is now defunct. It needs to be advertised more to get more people, and I would suggest a DJ or music to finish out the hours-for those who wanted to stay out till 1 am. There is a definite need and interest in things to do for anyone over 25. Halloween is an ageless holiday to celebrate and it was so nice to see faces 21 to ...much older out an enjoying themselves. As 40 somethings we still want to go out an have fun, but not feel like we are invading a frat party. This was perfect!
Great music, lots of wonderful costumes. So much fun to hear and see the bands Caulfields, The Numbers, Montana Wildaxe and The Snap. Something about the feel of the theater, the closeness of the musicians, it's like being part of a family!
