It was first experience of attending a Monster jam. It wasn’t so bad. There should be more obstacles in the arena for different stunts i believe.
I brought my 4 yr old son and purchased the pre pit party. It was really good. Only thing I would like to see improve on is the amount of people, the line ups got crazy and we were there early. Security was trying to close the lines and people kept going through meet the drivers, it kind of got out of control by the end.
Parking at the Saddledome was a disaster and poorly planned. Made us late 45 mins and missed half of the event
The Allstate Arena is fairly small. Leaves little for drivers to do so many times it’s the same jumps which gets boring quick. Definitely no where as dynamic as the promo video shows. For the right price, less than $30 a person, worth it. Otherwise, pass for smaller venues
It was just aight. The motorcycles was the only good part. The trucks was fun for 10 minutes top. They all pretty much did the same tricks over and over again. Overall it was trash and boring but it was worth the price but I wouldn't go again
The show was amazing. Would love to go again. The arena is horrible. The seating is too small. There’s no elbow room show needs to be placed elsewhere.
The arena is simply too small for the trucks to not only get air but they were just kinda jumping back and forth. Cool to see a big truck do that, and the noise and dirt spraying is great, but after you watch one stadium event (in person or on tv/online) the event at rosemont is just a bit underwhelming.
This venue is too small for monster trucks . They can do almost nothing except go in small circle.
Kid was disappointed, one truck one flip in the entire show. Not sure if the size of the arena is an issue
To be honest, Monster Jam is very exciting to watch and even more so being at live event. My gripe here is the location. The Hidalgo Payne Arena is literally the worst place to have a Monster Jam event. The a closed ceiling venue kept all the smoke and dust from the trucks inside and left feeling dirty from it and I was not even as close as most others were. The small ground area for performance is literally the size of a basketball court. The trucks couldn’t really do much but a figure 8 drive path on a little speed bump of a dirt mound. As with this small venue, be sure to bring a mask for dust or even a respirator for carbon smoke.
We've gone three years in a row and have loved it every time! We always encourage friends/family to get the pit party pass, as getting to see the trucks up close and meet the truck drivers is always a highlight for our family. Then to watch the show after and cheer on our favourites has become something we look forward to every year.
Great event, but the concession stand was running low on food items and big line ups
We had pit passes. Mohawk Madness driver was absolutely amazing!! The rest of the drivers were disappointing. He was the only one that actually talked to my son, asked him questions... Chatted with him. The others say hi, sign his poster and take a photo and move on. Was very disappointed in this experience so will not be buying the pit passes again.
As me and my son love motor sports especially monster trucks, the show is the same every year it need some different competitions and different halftime shows bikes are alright but same jumps every year , time to make some changes, the prices keep going up , parking , food , souvenirs ect , it’s a fun expensive day it should be worth while, i have been to the USA shows and wow such a difference they make it so much fun and great half time shows, just saying as paying fans keep it fresh you have a year to prepare .
I just loved everything ???? Perfect show for every member of your family ??
Seemed like this year (with the exception of Kayla Blood, Jurassic Attack and Mohawk) the drivers and mechanical condition of the trucks left a lot in the table. As expected there will be mechanical issues but it was really disappointing that only 2 trucks attempted backflips over the whole weekend. It was fun but honestly it seems like Feld phoned it in for this one.
Disappointed , the room for the truck was so small they could barely do anything. There was nothing like what they show in the commercials to get you to buy tickets. There was nothing exciting and impressive. 1 thing was nice, the unicorn truck did a backflip which was the most exciting part. I wouldn’t go back ever again. I expected to see what was on the commercial, very far from it, disappointing.
The show was once again top notch. it's the first Monster Jam that I have seen outdoors, and it was great. It gave the Trucks some extra room to maneuver around out there, and the drivers did not disappoint. We had pit party pass's which was great but the driver meet and greet was the icing on the cake. my kids were so excited to meet their favorite drivers in a one-on-one experience. the drivers were all really great as well giving all the kids the time they needed. Thank you for the wonderful experience.
Event was cool. But I expected the events to be at a bigger venue to perhaps see the bikers and trucks jump over cars and stuff. The venue didn't have enough food vendors for the amount of people that attended, the lines were disgusting. I would definitely see this event again perhaps at a different venue or actually in the states
Great show by the trucks . The pit pass was over sold and we were not able to meet any drivers or get any photos. And $25 for shaved ice and some food colouring is outrageous.
