Outstanding
by Garytenn on 9/19/24The Walker Theatre - ChattanoogaMolly and Golden Highway gave an outstanding display of expert musicianship, both vocally and instrumentally. Their arrangements of originals and covers displayed ingenuity and passion for performance. While obviously well-rehearsed, they performed with obvious enjoyment that was transmitted to the audience. Even when the opening number was marred by a malfunctioning sound system (soon repaired), they gamely stepped to the front of the stage and sang and played unamplified. The opening act of 15-year-old Wyatt Ellis was a great serving of traditional bluegrass with a mix of original tunes and standards. I would gladly see a repeat of this exact program.
