Mizzou Tigers Women’s Basketball History

The University of Missouri Tigers women’s basketball team launched in 1974 and has competed in the Big Eight, Big 12 and Southeastern conferences. Over the years, the Tigers have secured three conference tournament championships, three regular season titles and 13 Women's March Madness appearances. The Mizzou women’s team have reached the second round five times, most recently in 2019, and advanced to the Sweet Sixteen in 1982 and 2001. Robin Pingeton has served as head coach since 2010.??
