MercyMe has been releasing hits in the Christian rock genre since 2001, when "I Can Only Imagine" caught the attention of the public and became the most requested song on a mainstream station in Texas. Despite the band's success on conventional radio stations, the majority of ticket buyers expect MercyMe's concert tours to be religion oriented, and they are not disappointed. Fans who attended the Rock & Worship Roadshow in 2013 described the tour as uplifting and filled with spiritual hits that included "Word of God Speak,” “All of Creation” and "You Don’t Care At All." The latter song is from the 2012 album The Hurt & the Healer, which reached No. 1 on the Christian Albums Billboard chart.
Millard formed MercyMe with Jim Bryson and Mike Scheuchzer in Oklahoma, and after releasing independently, MercyMe signed with INO Records in 2001. Their first album earned the 2x Platinum certification from the RIAA after "I Can Only Imagine" won two Dove Awards. On 2002's Spoken For, which peaked at No. 2 on the Christian Albums chart, the title track was the most successful. 2004's Undone brought with it hits like "Here with Me," "Homesick" and "In the Blink of an Eye." 2006's Coming Up to Breathe was nominated for a Grammy, due to hit singles like "Bring the Rain," "So Long Self" and "Hold Fast." All That Is Within Me was released in 2007, with "God With Us" reaching No. 1 on the Christian Songs Billboard chart. 2010 saw the release of The Generous Mr. Lovewell, while 2012's The Hurt & The Healer featured "You Are I Am" and the title track as the most popular songs. MercyMe has plans to continue its tour for The Hurt & the Healer album in 2014.

Great Music and Worship I recommend all ages to attend when given the chance Gods Love filled the room with amazing worship praise and music Crowder and Cockren and co was absolutely amazing as well i cant wait to attend another Mercy Me Crowder and Cockren and co concert
I attended the concert in April in Duluth. Right before Mercy Me started playing I fell and was swelling. I stayed until the end of the show. It was such an amazing concert the pain was minimal to me. After the concert I headed to the ER and found out I had a hematoma. It went away over time. I love Mercy Me and I plan to go to more.
I was very moved. I would love them to come here where I live. What is funny is I live in Millard Nebraska BART would think it was named for him. I lost my husband a year ago. I have been in a sad place. Them coming here would I hope lift me up.
I can’t wait to take my granddaughter again. She was 4 the first time I took her to see them. She is now 10 and she’s excited to see them again.
This was an amazing concert. Loved all of the groups that were a part of the show. The Lord was moving in the arena that night and it was amazing.
Took my son, his wife and 9 11 year old granddaughters. Everyone enjoyed it immensely.
Awesome concert! Very exciting. All the music was awesome!
We had a great time!! All the music was great especially mercy me.. The only downside was my seat. I had seat one and two in row A of the upper level. There was a glass partition in my view and it was dirty at that. Tickets weren't cheap to get the aisle seat and I was very disappointed in that. Think next time I would rather go back to the Charlotte bojangles theater to see anyone else in the future. We also went to Greensboro for winterjam and where we sat the music overpowered the lyrics and if u can't understand the lyrics than their is really no point in going.
They are phenomenonal! I would highly recommend this concert to anyone wanting to enjoy some great, uplifting Christian music, singers and performers who truly love the Lord. And Bart Millard of Metcy Me is so smooth in his transition btwn each song and so real. He is also PRETTY HILARIOUS!
The Newsboys weren't as good as I have seen them in the past but they are a wonderful band! Bart was SO personable and made it seem like this was the only concert he's performed this year and really connected with the crowd!
They exceeded my expectations. I would go see them again in a heartbeat
Concert was amazing! From the opening acts to the main event, totally great show. Loved the music and energy throughout the night! Loved all the new music!
Wonderful love seeing merch me for the first time.????
Let’s start with Newsboys - oh my gosh! Their energy is off the charts! Absolutely love their music, talent and voices! And MercyMe? Fantastic!
Our group of four enjoyed the concert very much. Both MercyMe and the Newsboys were fabulous. It was entertaining and uplifting. Also I thought the sound system was fantastic. Thank you for providing such a memorable experience. Blessings! Brad
The night was filled with three groups singing praises to God! Awesome night of worship!
What a shame looking forward to a great sounding concert and time to worship, the bands and mercy me played there hearts out unfortunately the sound man ruined what would have been a great concert. Volume was way to loud to the point the music sounded like a jumbled up squall of distortion , no separation of instruments drums and bass were over mixed and vocals were completely marred lyrics were not recognizable. The decimeter app on my phone was showing peaks in excess of 104 db.setting in section 124 Greensboro has great acoustics I have heard great sound there for over 45 years. But not this time.
The concert was amazing! I paid to sit on the floor because I can’t sit in the stands. I have bad knees. However, the chairs on the floor were so close together I was squished. The parking price of $25 was ridiculous as well.
What a joy to be able to attend our first MercyMe concert. It was uplifting and refreshing . The band was awesome and Bart sounded amazing. He has such a beautiful voice. Their songs are so inspiring and it was a blessing to see them perform in person. Love love MercyMe!
