Memphis Tigers Baseball Tickets

The Memphis Tigers baseball team is a varsity intercollegiate athletic team of the University of Memphis in Memphis, Tennessee. The team competes in the American Athletic Conference (AAC) of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I. The Tigers play their home games at FedExPark Avron Fogelman Field, which is located on the university's campus.

The Tigers have won two AAC championships, in 2017 and 2022. They have also appeared in the NCAA Tournament 17 times, most recently in 2022.

The Tigers have had a number of players who have gone on to play professional baseball. Some of the most notable include Dan Uggla, Jacob Wilson, and Chad Harville.

Uggla, a standout infielder, played for the Memphis Tigers from 1999 to 2001. He went on to have a successful MLB career, primarily known for his time with the Miami Marlins. Uggla was a three-time MLB All-Star and hit over 30 home runs in five consecutive seasons, setting a record for second basemen.

Wilson, an infielder, played for the Memphis Tigers from 2009 to 2012. He showcased his hitting prowess during his college career and was subsequently drafted by the St. Louis Cardinals in the 10th round of the 2012 MLB Draft.

Finally, Harville, a right-handed pitcher, attended the University of Memphis and played for the Tigers. He was selected by the Oakland Athletics in the second round of the 1997 MLB Draft. Harville pitched for multiple teams in the MLB, including the Athletics, Houston Astros, and Boston Red Sox.

The Tigers have played their home games at FedExPark Avron Fogelman Field since 2000. The stadium is named after Avron Fogelman, a Memphis businessman who donated $10 million to the construction of the stadium. FedExPark Avron Fogelman Field has a capacity of 6,000 people.
