Georgia-born country singer-songwriter Megan Moroney burst onto the scene in 2022 with her breakout single “Tennessee Orange,” which was produced by Grammy winner Kristian Bush (one-half of famed country duo Sugarland). The single peaked in the Top 40 on the Billboard Hot 100 and was later certified double Platinum. The track rose to No. 10 on the Hot Country Songs chart and earned Moroney her first CMT Music Award for Breakthrough Female Video of the Year. She also earned New Artist of the Year and Song of the Year nominations at the 2023 CMA Awards. In 2023 she joined CMT’s Next Women of Country program and released her debut album Lucky featuring the single “I’m Not Pretty.” Produced by Bush, the album debuted at No. 38 on the Billboard 200. Moroney subsequently headed out on her first headlining tour and also opened on dates for country icons Brooks & Dunn. She then released “Can’t Break Up Now,” a collaboration with Old Dominion, and then “No Caller ID” was released in 2024. She received six nominations at the 2024 Academy of Country Music Awards, including Female Artist of the Year.?
