It was a fantastic show. Max and the Weeklings rocked the house.
Max is quite the character & entertainer! The band sounded great- but the best? So much fun! Loved the concept & the musicians were so good & could easily carry off playing awesome covers of songs we don’t hear near enough any more. We’d see them again in a drum beat <3 \m/
The show was absolutely amazing !! Every song they did was a ten , maxes interaction with the audience was also a ten. I recommend this show for all ages !! I will go for another round as soon as nearby again . Kudos to max and his band and his manager mark !!
I went last Spring and saw the show with a friend in Port Washington, NY- We really enjoyed it, and are going to go to the show at the Paramount in August! ??
I attended Summerfest in Milwaukee, WI 6/25/22 and planned on seeing a few bands before the Steve Miller Band headlined that night which I had tickets for. I did not know I would be stumbling upon such a fantastic, entertaining, crowd dancing, crowd pleasing, truly exciting experience as Max Weinberg's jukebox!!! I happened to pass by just as they were singing Highway to Hell by AC/DC...WOW!!! I was floored when I glanced at the band playing that song and was amazed to see the gray foxed gentleman on stage! They did an excellent job with that song and not looking I would have thought they were in their 40's...SO WRONG!!! I then grabbed some food and continued to enjoy their show. I am so happy I "stumbled" upon them!!! I even brought out my dancing skills lol. Definitely would love to see them again...great job guys I had a blast!!
My only complaint is that they forgot to play my requested song, “Doctor My Eyes”. I was wearing. T-shirt with an eye on it and Max even pointed at it. I happen o be an eye doctor, and it was also my birthday! It’s ok. I’ve been backstage with Bruce & the E Street band many times and had dinner with Max and his wife in London in 1985 during the “Born on the USA” tour of 84-85.
A very entertaining evening of good ol' Rock 'n Roll! Max's interactively chosen playlist had all attending involved, and it made for a very enjoyable evening. Even a couple minor glitches with sound equipment couldn't dampen the foot stompin', hand clappin' show, with Max and his other three amazing artists. So glad I "took the chance" on something a bit different.... And "Thanks, Max!"
Max was a fine host and the mood was festive. It was nice to be out, the venue was very good, and the music was enjoyable.
A history lesson in rock & roll, with a little bit of trivia thrown in! Fantastic concert in a fabulous setting
