Had a seat at the bar (obstructed view but I was able to see the stage) to listen to Maurice Brown and his Birthday Extravaganza. Excellent meal and music! My only wish was that the plate had more scallops as they some of the best I've ever had.
He is very talented! I could not believe the range of sounds he got from the trumpet! Not only that every one of the other musicians were equally talented. Most of the show was fast paced I would have liked a little more smooth jazz numbers. Unfortunately the sound quality during his rap numbers made it impossible to understand what he was saying Overall very enjoyable and I would see him again!
Maurice takes jazz to the next level, infusing it with funk & groove! Such a delicious experience! Danced my butt off! The Cycle of Love tracks were amazing
