Matt Nathanson is a folk-rock singer and songwriter from Lexington, Massachusetts. As a solo artist, Nathanson has released 13 studio albums since launching with his 1993 debut, Please. His fifth album, 2003’s Beneath These Fireworks, served as his first major label release, though his 2007 follow-up, Some Mad Hope, achieved his first mainstream chart success behind the Hot 100-charting single “Come On Get Higher,” which would later be certified triple-platinum. Nathanson would hit the Hot 100 twice more with “Faster” and the Sugarland collaboration “Run” from 2011’s Modern Love. He also reached a new career peak at No. 16 on the Billboard 200 for 2013’s Last of the Great Pretenders. In 2022, Nathanson released his 13th album, Boston Accent, capping a prolific run of three full-length releases in three years. Nathanson’s music and extensive covers catalog have appeared across film and television, including The Bachelor, One Tree Hill and the American Pie franchise.????
