Much more humor than in the recorded podcast. It was also a chance to hear more stories at once instead of having to wait a week for the next one. It was great that he brought Chad along to set the mood!
Aaron's storytelling style was as smooth as on his podcasts! Great venue and great stories. If Aaron and Chad did another tour I would go. I'm from Michigan and flew to see them in New Jersey.

What a great night. We listen to the show on all summer long at our cabin and love the stories, so when we bought our 16 yr the tickets for his birthday we didn’t know what to expect. It exceeded expectations! What a fabulous story teller and pianist. Just a great night.
I’ve been listening to the podcast Lore since the beginning. He has such a talent for story telling. The combination of his voice and the accompanying music always draws me in and makes for the perfect companion for long road trips. The live show felt even more personable. They both clearly enjoy what they’re doing. After the show they met with everyone, chatting, signing things, and taking pictures. It wasn’t rushed, just very relaxed and very enjoyable. I would definitely go to another show.
This was a great night! We bought these for my son’s birthday, and he didn’t stop smiling all night! Nice stage set, beautiful piano music, and Aaron telling us riveting stories! Aaron kept everyone glued to him, engaged the audience so well, we wished it didn’t have to end! At the meet and greet after, Aaron found out it was my son’s birthday, and gave him a Lore coin as a gift. My son was over the moon! We all love the podcasts, but this was just a perfect evening. Thanks Aaron and Chad!
We had a great time hearing creepy ghost stories and folklore in a lovely theater with great architecture and such a good vibe.
My son has autism, and Lore is his favorite podcast. So when I saw the chance to get tickets to see LORE live in Boston, four of us went. One fan of LORE and three fans of my son :) I have a hearing impediment and I tried shushing the bar staff who were talking quietly during the show. One usher noticed and actually moved our seats further away from the bar and right next to the sound board. It was our first time at Wilbur and look forward to our next event there. I have autism like my son so let me pre-apologize in case my words don't make sense.
If you close your eyes, you’re listening to a podcast. If you open them, Aaron has created an atmosphere and stage presence that can bring the house down. This is by far the most captivating hour and a half I have ever spent, listening to amazing tales of lore. He even added a story at the end, a true 30-40 minute tale, related to Georgia (this was at the Atlanta theater) that I had never heard of before. I have told all of my friends and coworkers about this event, to the point of annoying them. But it was that good.
Aaron was top notch in his usual way. He added a bit more humor and a personal feeling to the live show that he can't really do on the pod, which made it feel all that more special to be attending. Chad was amazing as well, especially when you add that during our show in Atlanta he was afflicted with allergies that made him not up to par. We purchased the VIP for this show and Aaron (not Chad for us due to his affliction) was kind and took time enough to make sure everyone felt heard and appreciated. He even stated he would be there as long as it took to see everyone who waited.
