Took my two dearest friends to the show. One of them had never even heard of Lindsey. Needless to say she is a convert now. I have seen Lindsey previously in two different smaller venues and this was by far the best I have seen. Can't wait to see her again.
Lindsey Stirling put on a fantastic show as usual. I've seen her twice now and we loved the experience both times.
The shows are always super fun and engaging. Lindsey and her team make use of everything available to them to create a spectacular visual experience to go along with the music. And there is always some kind of crowd interaction, both speaking and activity. This was my second time attending, and I fully plan on going again someday.
Love opening act "Saint Motel" Clean - (cleaner than Hollywood Bowl IMO) Lindsey's talent and hard work really shows; and I enjoyed her sharing personal experiences. She was teaching us how to manage anxiety/stress and encourage us not to believe in negative messages!
I saw Lindsey Sterling many years ago and thought she was great. I was totally not prepared for what I saw this evening. Lindsey Sterling is a total queen. The show was incredible. She really puts her all into it and the set designs, costumes, dancers and musicians made it spectacular. The set designs and costumes were so beautiful. I absolutely loved the aerials, and it was amazing Lindsey could play her violin upside down in the air. She's an amazing musician and has the most incredible energy of any performer I've ever seen. She's all over the place all while playing her violin. She's very open and honest about mental health struggles and seems to be so down-to-earth. Her opening band Walk Off The Earth is a Canadian band, and they were also incredible. Such high energy, great songs and extremely talented musicians. They all played such a variety of instruments, and some of the instruments were very unusual. The founder of the band is married to the singer, and they have three very young sons who are also musicians and have a band called Luminati Suns. I believe the lead singer is 6, and the other two brothers are 9 and 11. One plays the drums and the other plays keyboard. The little one is like a total rock star. He's singing and running all over the place and throwing himself around on the floor. It's incredible and such a riot. Not only that but they're really great. I was blown away. The entire evening was so perfect that at the you felt like you got double your money's worth.
Lindsey consistently has delivered a great live performance throughout her career. Now that she has such a deep catologue of songs to choose from, she can really turn the whole show into a cohesive experience. Sound was first rate, choreography was first rate, stage and costuming was first rate. It is obvious that she learns from every tour and applies it to the next. It makes me wonder how she continues to get better and better. Where else do you see the headliner doing hoops and silks acrobatics, and playing a violin inverted hanging from the silks 20 feet in the air, and still playing solid?
I brought my Mom along to this concert and she isn't really a huge fan of live shows. But she had an amazing time and so did I!!!! Saint Motel did a great job getting the audience pumped up and I discovered some great new music. Lindsey Stirling was absolutely amazing!!! Her energy and her connection with the audience made the experience that much better! Even my Mom said she had a fantastic time and that Lindsey was so impressive! Thanks for the great memory with my Mom!!!
I go and see Lindsey every time she is local and when I can not local. Her shows are so impressive and amazing. You see her heart in every words she says and every song she plays. There’s never a dull moment. I’m counting down the days until I can see her again.
From the moment the concert started the music was TOO LOUD. It opened with a group named Saint Hotel, which seemed to be OK but it was hard to tell because the music drowned out the singer. It was loud to the point of ear pain. And we were sitting about half way down the basketball court and 2/3 of the way up from the floor, 150-200 feet I'd guess. The floor and seat were vibrating to the rhythm of the bass guitar and the pounding of the bass drum. Pity the poor people down on the floor and up close to the stage. We thought it would get better when Lindsay came on but it only diminished about 10%. By contrast we saw Lindsays' "Snow Waltz"tour last year in Tucson and it was thoroughly enjoyable. Someone needs to have serious talk with the sound engineer. Loudness does not equal goodness.
