Las Vegas Raiders History
The Las Vegas Raiders began play in the American Football League in Oakland in 1960. In 1963, they hired head coach and general manager Al Davis, who engineered the greatest one-year turnaround in pro football history, leading the Raiders to a 10-4 record after they posted a 1-13 mark the year before.
From 1967 to 1977 the Raiders appeared in three consecutive AFL title games and six AFC championship games. They won their first national championship title at Super Bowl XI in 1977, beating Minnesota 32-14. In 1980, they became the first Wild Card playoff team to win a Super Bowl, beating Philadelphia 27-10 in Super Bowl XV.
The Raiders moved to Los Angeles in 1982 and the following year won their third national championship title, defeating Washington 38-9 in Super Bowl XVIII. After returning to Oakland in 1995, the Raiders won three straight AFC West titles from 2000 to 2002 and earned a berth in Super Bowl XXXVII. As the only franchise to play in the Super Bowl in the 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s, the Raiders are known as the “Team of the Decades.” The Raiders relocated to Las Vegas in 2020 and made a playoff appearance in 2021.
The Raiders have 30 members of the Pro Football Hall of Fame, including owner Al Davis.?

Stadium nice, but the one field product was severely lacking.
Beautiful venue , fans came out in force , seat prices are on the very high side but yet fans show up . Raiders as a whole looked like garbage !!! I Will definitely consider this experience before I ever buy another one .
I must say the stadium is truly beautiful, I enjoyed the big screens in all the other screen around the stadium. Thank you it was a great game.
From purchasing my ticket to entry to the stadium to getting to my seat was a smooth experience, I’m from the UK ???? so i’m not a huge NFL fan but my two visits have both been fantastic!!
It was a great and fun experience. From the minute we walked into the stadium to the minute we walked out. Seats were amazing we were right behind the goal post. It was a night to remember thank you Allegiant Stadium ?? ????????
Took the wife and I to the game on our 1st anniversary, RAIDERS vs PACKERS we had a blast especially we won oh by the way she's a packers fan. but she does wear raiders if we go against other teams.
Does anyone know if there’s a place to pay to meet the players or anything to that matter husband is a huge fan and I want it to be a surprise for him and also what size bag can I take it
Hubby is a big Raiders fan and brought him to the new stadium as a birthday gift. Totally enjoyed it! Entry to game was easy & the nachos were delicious! Would definitely return!
Beautiful venue. Easy getting in and finding our seats. Bathrooms were great, not busy. Changing table located in woman’s restroom, not in stall which was very convenient. However, getting out of the stadium was tough. Super crowded and they directed everyone to 1 area. Glad I didn’t have anywhere to go fast and my baby was sleeping!
I enjoy going to NFL games around the US and have seen several teams play as well as stadiums. No stadium better than the Raiders. With ticket prices so high in the NFL I as a fan should be able to demand the best product be put on the field. I understand I have no financial gains just losses with the teams performance. If the team wins year in and year out I would not mind paying a little extra.
