I loved it. My granddaughter and I went together and were both filled with Christmas Spirit. The singing was amazing.
The K-LOVE Live show was very encouaging and uplifting. The singers sang great songs and had amazing voices. I felt like I was worshipping to the Lord as I sang along with Natalie and Danny Gokey. I would definitely go to their Christmas show or their concerts again if the came back to Portland.
So I wasn’t able to use the parking pass I purchased because of being with a walker so had to pay for the garden garage. I got my seat exchanged but where the replacement was it wasn’t mobility friendly with a walker if you would have listened that I need the walker close you would haven’t placed me there. If would have been better if the usher would have been available to get my walker when I needed it it would have been better
An amazing performance by the artists. But looking at the stage we were sitting to the left and the spot light was aimed directly at us. We were either being blinded when it was pointed at us or seeing spots when it moved away.
I couldn't be more pleased about the performance of 3 great artists. What I didn't appreciate is being trapped into a pressure packed period given to World Vision. I think they are a great organization and have supported them in the past but I felt the way this was done put too much pressure on and could make people support it because of the emotion at the time even though they couldn't afford it.
We were moved up from our original seats. The onstage lighting was faced at us for a while, but everything else was great.
We really were excited to Celebrate Christmas, but I wish we left during the intermission. The first half was great. Second half only had one Christmas song and the rest was just awful. They begged people to donate money. How is that celebrating Christmas. We paid for tickets to a show and then we were held captive while you begged us for money. Not happy.
I saw the 2019 Christmas concert with Natalie and Danny and was just blown away. It was held in a church in Gresham - full house but warm and cozy, great acoustics for this concert. This year at the Moda Center was awkward. We were up in the stands and felt so far away from the stage. There were no jumbotron video screens to see their facial expressions. It just fell a bit flat and cold. But the singing was AMAZING as always and Mac Powell was a delightful treat. Hoping they'l be back but in a better venue next year!
We had a wonderful time. Reminded us of what really matters!
Mac, Powell, Natalie Grant and Danny Gokey. What's not to like? Three incredible voices and an awesome night of worship!!
