Kingston Frontenacs Tickets

In a game honoring the Tragically Hip. the Fronts and Steelheads played a tremendously skilled and fast paced game that went to overtime. The Fronts win on a night when The Tragically Hip were in the house and did the ceremonial opening puck drop. The arena was sold out and the energy was electric.. This was hockey at its best, a 0-0 time during regulation when any play could have turned the game. The OT was electric before the winning goal was scored. You could not hope for a better game. These kids play better than the NHL and if I lived close would watch them often in person. Well worth going.

We drove down to Kingston. Spent two nights at a Kingston hotel and went shopping around the area of the KRock Centre. Our group has strict guidelines where we do NOT cheer against the home team. We only cheer FOR our team. When some of the Kingston fans started to heckle us, we did not respond. Heckling included yelling in our ear and positioning horns by our ears and blowing. When we use our noise makers, we ring or clack them up in the air away from anyone's ears. When we complained to security about the abuse, the security personnel stated to us that we were cheering TOO LOUD. This was confusing because as fans we are expected to be loud. (Loud meter on the jumbotron)

The game was good as Kingston won. However I was disappointed to find out that I had bought standing room tickets. How can you sell standing room tickets with a row and seat number on them. There are no seats in standing room. I had purchased four tickets for myself, my son and two young grandchildren. If I had known it was standing room I would not have bought them as it is too long for the children to stand. The tickets should be sold stating that it is standing room with no row number or seat number.

Had a great time, and the frontenacs won. Go fronts go!

Had a very entertaining evening. We took a friend along with us and we all had a great time at the event. Unfortunately the 67's were not able to secure the win.

This is a hockey game It was a hockey rink, Beer is beer, food ok but very expensive.
