I was so excited to hear that Kid Fury was going on tour this year. He is truly a gift to us all. He was able to turn his life experiences into a comedy set full of laughs and tears. Kid Fury will forever and always be my fave. Looking forward to this next chapter and beyond. Btw, did I mention that he met the Beyoncé Giselle Knowles-Carter. We need more Fury in this wild world we live in.
Kid Fury told his story in the way only he could. Weaving in and out of Read references, his story, and current events seamlessly had me cackling and on the edge of my seat.
I have been a fan of Kid Fury since I started listening to The Read in 2015. I have gone back and listened to every episode, some over and over. I am in a very different generation from him, I find him an incredibly quick and trenchant cultural commentator. I travelled to see this show because I was so concerned about his mental health crises, but had heard that the show was funny. I was NOT disappointed. Fury was fantastic. Confident, Commanding on stage. Hilarious. Riveting. This should be seen/heard by everyone who is capable of empathy and loves a great humorist and storyteller.
Such a good show. Kid Fury is funny and adorable. Also, punchline Philly is such a nice venue. It’s always easy entry and I love the table service.
Opening act was hilarious, I had to go look her up after the show.
The title is for the gworls that get it. I LOVED, dare I say, LIVED for Kid Fury's set. It felt long in the best way. I never wanted it to end. I've been listening and watching him to ANYthing for almost a decade. He always leaves me in stitches! I love it here. I'm glad he's here. And I am so very grateful he shares with us. We gon' sell it out every time!
Kid Fury was AMAZING !! I’ve been listening to The Read for about 5 years, so when I saw Kid Fury was going to be in Philly I knew I had to buy a ticket. Kid Fury and his openers were HILARIOUS. He balances tough topics like his mental health struggles in such a relatable and, surprisingly, hilarious way. I enjoyed the show so much and can’t wait to see him again!!
Kid Fury show was not what I expected, when we walked into club and seen thar it was a full house I was expecting a great show but instead was totally disappointed with show. His topics were not funny at all. People were not laughing, a few chuckles here and there. My wife and I even took some guests to comedy show because we had been telling that all the shows were great . Unfortunately this show was not. Will definitely continue going to shows but this one was totally a disappointment.
This is the third time that I have seen Kid Fury, and he never ceases to be funny while hitting the deep feels of the heart. Loved his set!!! He keeps getting better!
Kid Fury was everything! He did a really really good job sharing his story while making it entertaining. Love him!
