Joan Jett & the Blackhearts Tickets

This was the opening weekend weekend of the all new Hardrock Casino in Rockford Illinois and on Sat Aug 31st, Rock and Roll Hall of Famers Joan Jett and the Blackhearts put on a great show! Joan Jett sounded great, the band was very tight and the lead guitarist was amazing! I found out after the show they had been opening for Alanis Morissette all summer and they sure seemed to be in top form. In addtion to her own classics (I Love Rock and Roll, I Hate Myself for Loving You) there were some songs dating back to her time with The Runaways (Cherry Bomb, You Drive Me Wild), some great covers (Everyday People from Sly and the Family Stone and Crimson and Clover from Tommy James and the Shondelles) as well as some songs from her newer albums and even some surprise covers like Adrogynous as she shouted out one of my favorite songwriters, Paul Westerberg! There was no opening act but JJ and the BH took the stage and delivered a nonstop 1 hour and 20 minute set, with high energy and musicianship and Joan was great onstage even at age 65. The venue was very nice as well but I supposed it should be as it was brand new. Highly recommend both the venue and seeing Joan Jett and the Blackhearts if you can catch them later on this year!

Though the music in the 80’s it makes one really see two hits that were really a chart topper. I do not see a real reason to ever see this group again. For the cost of tickets it should have had opening acts this group only performed 75 minutes. Not worth the money

Joan jett rocked as she always does. The venue however did not. It made me feel like i was at some kind of corporate motivational seminar or one of those awful, soulless megachurches. And don't even get me started on the $15 price per drink. In rockford, illinois!

Concert with Joan Jett was awesome. Great intimate venue. Loved the seating and acoustics. Bar service took forever outside the venue. Ticket had 7:00 on it, doors opened at 7:00 concert started at 8:00. Should be more clear.

Enjoyed the smaller venue located in the new Rockford IL Hard Rock Casino!

The tickets showed a 7 o'clock time for the concert, but did not start until 8, apparently by design... a 1 hr wait is not cool. Show was short... 1hr and 15min, with no encore.

Hard Rock Grand Opening. Iconic rock; raw, gritty and pure. Old school. One hour of pounding music with more hits than I remembered with several new classics. New fav song is Shooting Into Space. Great rendition of Everyday People. While the casino is lush, the concert hall was a bit stark and sort of school auditorium-like. The seats were comfortable and the sound vibes on spot. My regards to the drummer. Recognized Joan in a quick walk thru the casino ahead of the show. Genuine rockstar. The real thing.

I’ve seen Joan Jett and the Blackhearts 3 times now… each time whether they open or are the main act they are incredible! Great sound, great energy and a fun environment!!! Joan is an absolute pioneer and can really put on a show! Her band is phenomenal as well. Would recommend and can’t wait to see my next show!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The acustics were horrible The first band we couldn't hear talk or the words while they were singing. Of course we understood the words for Joan Jett because we knew the words, but we couldn't understand what she was saying. We were on the platform because of my sisters disability. I'm sure for the people in the pit it was awesome. But there is no way we could be down there. It would be nice if there was a place on the floor for handicapped seating. Just not in an area where there are people jumping around. So the 2 isn't because of the band. It was because of the Scheels arena unfortunately.

She put on a great show her voice is so incredible well worth seeing her period
