Jiaoying Summers Tickets

She was funny. Venue is nice. Drinks are little bit expensive. Start time was a bit late but it was OK. First time there. Would come back again.

It was a great night of comedy! The host and featured act were very good. Jiaoying Summers was amazing and I would definitely recommend seeing her in person if you get the chance. The only negative to the night was that I had paid extra for meet and greet opportunities, but they just let everyone meet her so I felt like I paid extra for nothing.

There were two acts before her that were pretty good. The guy who went right before her was really good, I wish I could remember his name but if he had the same amount of time as summers, it would've been hard for her to outperform his set. Summers was not bad at all though, definitely better than I expected and I would go see her again. Punchline hasn't disappointed me yet.

The 3 lead up comedians were all funny and engaging. the guys seems all at ease and good with the audience, seemed happy to be there and read the fried well. The main act Jiaoying seems a bit robotic and to be honest didn’t seem to even look at the audience. Unfortunately most of her routine I had seen on instagram etc and I was hoping to see / hear some new material and hopefully enjoy some good chemistry with live audience but there was none of either. it ended with an awkward confusing whimper and I left wondering why it feel so weird…
