Couldn’t hear most of what she said

Jewel in Concert
Jewel is the rare artist who can mesmerize audiences with just an acoustic guitar and her voice. Not only is the Grammy-nominated songwriter a masterful storyteller, but she's also an expressive singer who takes a variety of approaches — raspy whispers, a powerful warble, and even a signature, awe-inspiring yodel — to convey the emotion within her folk, pop, and country tunes. Still, Jewel's 2018 Handmade Holiday Tour, a seasonal song-filled show with a pre-concert chance to make gifts, is a veritable family affair. As with the 2017 iteration of the festive jaunt, special guests include her dad, Atz (who also stars on the reality show ‘Alaska: The Last Frontier') and brothers Atz Lee and Nikos Kilcher.?
About Jewel
Jewel Kilcher was brought up on a farm in rural Alaska, but started playing music from a very young age. As a child, she performed with her father, touring a circuit of hotels and bars; later, as a teenager, she studied operatic voice at Michigan's Interlochen Arts Academy. However, Jewel's career breakthrough came in early 1990s San Diego: Discovered while living in her van and playing coffeehouses, she landed a major-label record deal and released 1995's multi-platinum ‘Pieces of You,' an insightful folk-pop collection that spawned two Billboard Hot 100 No. 2 hits, "You Were Meant for Me" and "Foolish Games," and the haunting meditation "Who Will Save Your Soul." In subsequent years, Jewel expanded her fanbase by dabbling in both mainstream pop (the slinky single "Intuition" peaked at No. 20 on the Billboard Hot 100) and country. But in a testament to her formidable talents, she also became a successful author — her 1999 poetry collection ‘A Night Without Armor' landed on the New York Times' best-seller list — and launched an acting career. Most notably, she portrayed June Carter Cash in the 2013 TV movie ‘Ring of Fire.'
She has a small voice anyway but because it is so high pitched and quiet. I honestly missed most of what she said.
Music was great! Visibility clear. Seating is not too comfy for anyone that is not a size 5. Getting in was horrible. Poorly directed by everyone. Rather than direct us to the corners of the block and down, it was a maze through the park to get to the front. Level Up was so not worth the $. Parking no better than the rest. Still required too much walking to get in (even though there was certainly a shorter way in but all blocked off)--very misleading. Once we got to the entrance, check in was super fast so Yeah for that! Overall great experience. Both great but Melissa was EXCELLENT.
Jewel has a pristine singing voice and an irreverent sense of humor. Go, if you want to experience a truly gifted and uncensored artist.
Jewel was amazing!! Sound was incredible no matter where you were seated. Best venue ever!! Melissa Erhridge rocked out!!
Love her music. Seemed to stray from classic performance a bit. I have seen her several times, I like her music and lyrics. I like it better when she stays on course in terms of how she plays versus the recorded songs, but still love her music.
She was so wonderful, it's amazing how clear her voice was in that large outdoor space!
The St Augustine amphitheater was a great venue to host Jewel and Melissa Etheridge. Both performers put on great performances. As usual, Jewel used her amazing range and ability to read the audience to have me excited about the next time I get to see her.
The amp never disappoints! Melissa Ethridge and Jewel and the band performed with high energy and amazing talent!!
She was really very good. The ending got a little boring when she was just singing notes and no real songs. I don't think I would pay again to see her. Melissa Etheridge was AMAZING though!
I love the empatheter and I love both performers, but there is no way that you should have melissa Etheridge has a warm up for jewel. Should have been the other way around. Than it would have been a better night.Melissa was high energy and had everybody up and going and joel put us to sleep. We left after about five songs
