Jesus Jones are a British alt-rock band formed in 1988 in Bradford-on-Avon, England. The band’s current lineup includes frontman Mike Edwards, guitarist Jerry De Borg, bassist Al Doughty, keyboardist Iain Baker and drummer Gen. In 1989, Jesus Jones released their debut album Liquidizer, which featured their first hit single “Info Freako.” Their 1991 sophomore studio effort, Doubt, contained the single “Right Here, Right Now,” which became an international hit for the group and eventually peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100. The song’s follow-up “International Bright Young Thing” also performed well on the charts in both the band’s native U.K. and America. Subsequent albums include Perverse (1993), Already (1997), London (2001) and Passages (2018). In 2024, Jesus Jones released new single “Still Smiling” with B-side “Blue Skies” and plan to tour the U.S. and U.K. before embarking on a co-headlining tour with fellow U.K. rockers EMF in the fall.?

The audio at the venue was really good, and the band sounded great! They were energetic and played all-out and with conviction. Interaction with the audience was great too.
First, I love the venue. An intimate experience. Jesus Jones has a unique sound and a high level of energy. The lead singers voice is one of a kind, lots of fun energy from the bassist and keyboardist. I had a blast!
