I thought the play, was written and produced very well. The cast was very entertaining. The music was great.

I really enjoyed the play. The cast did an amazing job at portraying the real movie. They hit all the pivotal points in the movie. It added a few modern day twists and humor was right on time. I would see it again and again.

Jason lyrics a great show. The acting was on point stage presence was great. The singing was awesome. Everyone was really in character. I really enjoyed it.

It was a absolutely beautiful play. The set.. The songs.. Thee actors..I was in awe the whole time. Looking forward to more plays this being my second. My first experience was with New Jack City another classic

What a night! My sister and I attended the Jason’s Lyric play at the Paramount Theater in Oakland, Ca. They did a phenomenal job of bringing the story to life: from the actors (including some of the original actors from the movie), to the background scenes, to the sound effects, the songs, etc. This was another successful production from Mr. Je’Caryous Johnson…We saw the Set It Off play a couple of years ago and it was dope. He’s planning to bring Waiting to Exhale, The Hippest Wizard of Oz, Marvin Gaye: The Musical, Power of Love: A Luther Vandross Story, and even Destiny’s Child. Show your support when they slide through your city!

Incredible performance from the design team and cast..the textures in the background bring forth a rustic feeling..the music is spot on nostalgic even..the cast can make any seat in the house feel like you front row..the only person there..truly captivating and beautiful..told you last year Sir you’re an inspiration.. I recommend you all go run ski fly uber or Lyft your way to see this masterpiece asap..May the angels be with you

The show was amazing. It was my first time at that theater. I left after intermission because the seats are not made for tall people. I am actually 5’11 and about 6’2/6’3 in heels. I actually sat in the second row from the stage.. Next time, I know to get the first row because it seem to have a little more legroom. I just couldn’t keep sitting. Show was outstanding the first hour for sure .
