Had a really fun time! An amazing singer, fun energy, and good people. Jazmin bean was really caring and respectful to her fans. At one point some one went down in the crowd and she had them stop the music and get her help.
Jazmin Bean is a very talented artist. It was a pity that the sound was so bad. The vokal "drowned in the sound carpet"as we say in Norway
The venue was beautiful and Jazmin was phenomenal. A dream come true, would definitely recommend
I loved Jazmin's performance—they did a fantastic job. However, I was taken aback by the number of small children at the concert. Although it was an all-ages show, I wasn’t expecting so many young kids at a metal concert with fairly explicit songs. It pulled me out of the experience and was quite distracting. The crowd was full of inexperienced and immature attendees. Some people kept heckling Jazmin to sing a particular song during every break, which was disrespectful and made me feel bad for the artist. The overall crowd energy was lackluster, and there was little consideration for others enjoying the show. A large number of people were holding up their phones for the entire concert, completely blocking the view for shorter attendees. Many were kids or parents who were already struggling to see past taller adults. I ended up stepping back to leave room for some of them to enjoy the show. From the comments I overheard, others were also surprised by the crowd dynamic, but didn't care about the young people and acted rudely towards them and constantly pushed them around. I've been to the House of Blues a few times and it was just funny hearing them do an emergency exit and a starting concert announcement before the show, I could only assume it was because of all the kids. it just felt funny cuz they never did that for all the adult shows. It's fine, just loses some concert magic instead of when the lights dim and the music starts to jam. Started the show with less immersion so I felt like that made the crowd feel unsettling.
It was excellent. Jazmin is an amazing performer with a beautiful voice. I will say, I hope their shows in the future are 18+. I saw way too many children who had no concert etiquette whatsoever and Jazmin was clearly annoyed/overstimulated. Hopefully they come back to Detroit! In about five years, they'll be one of the top alternative artists around for sure.
Was surprised to see such a wide age gap at the concert. Wasn’t expecting to see as many younger kids as i did, but nonetheless, Jazmin did a fantastic performance. None of my favorite songs by Jazmin were left out. Met some new friends too. Very friendly crowd
What an amazing show. Loved the small venue. Very intimate setting, wouldn’t want it any other way. Looking forward to see seeing Jazmin Bean again.
