It had been years since I saw Jarrod at the Strathmore in Bethesda. Imagine my excitement to see him back in the DMV again at the Birchmere! The show was great! I sang along to all my favorites. It was a very enjoyable experience that I shared with my daughter. 'Can't wait for another show that includes his background vocalists.
Jarrod Lawson is the ultimate professional and gives his audience 110 percent. With all his “Jesus Joy” flowing through his melodies it was an absolute pleasure to experience him live. The local band he put together was amazing. Fantastic !!!!
Had such a wonderful time at The Birchmere to see Jarrod Lawson. It was my first time at The Birchmere and my first time seeing Jarrod Lawson live. I arrived at venue about 20 minutes before the doors opened to be in line for my seating number (next time, I'll be there an hour before if possible). I'm glad the weather was nice enough to sit outside. Service at the bar was great and there was plenty of room and seating in that area. The numbering system for the seating seems to work well for "first come first serve". I love how intimate the seating is without feeling like it's too cramped. The food was good as well. I had the King Cobb Salad and it was King Size! Now, on to Mr. Lawson. WHAT A GREAT SHOW! He mentioned that he was nursing his voice back after losing it but let me tell you, if you didn't know, you wouldn't know! He and the band did AWESOME!! I hope he comes back to The Birchmere very soon. I am looking forward to seeing other artists at The Birchmere.
JAROD LAWSON HAS A VERY COOL VIBE. Great personality! His soulful voice, and creative musicianship on the keyboards is mesmerizing! His band highlighted his show even more with some great solos. Hope to run into you again Jarod. Cheers!
