About
Detroit horrorcore collective Insane Clown Posse has gained one of the most loyal followings in music over the last 15 years, spawning a legion of makeup-wearing fans known as Juggalos. Band members Violent J and Shaggy 2 Dope pioneered the hardcore hip-hop world and spawned numerous similar acts with an elaborate live performance that has made Insane Clown Posse nearly as iconic in concert as their actual recorded material. In fact, every year, thousands of ICP fans gather at the Gathering of the Juggalos, a five-day extravaganza that includes wrestling, games, contests and concerts from the entire Psychopathic Records lineup (co-founded by ICP). One of the first indie artists to develop a massive cult following in the 1990s, Insane Clown Posse tour the country relentlessly, and die-hard Juggalos will boast about how they have purchased tickets to numerous shows. The lively performance often features monsters, dancing clowns, girls and the several hundred two-liters of Faygo (from the group's native Detroit) being shot out into the crowd.
Violent J and Shaggy 2 Dope are childhood friends who flipped the rap world upside down with their dark and supernatural take on hip-hop. Surrounding the mythology of the Dark Carnival, Insane Clown Posse has crafted a unique style, leading to two platinum and five gold albums over 15 solid years of recording. "The Amazing Jeckel Brothers" is the group's fifth studio album and considered by many to be their finest achievement. "Boogie Woogie Wu," "Halls of Illusions," "My Axe" and "Mad Professor" are among their greatest hits. Insane Clown Posse continues to represent more than just a name or single album. They are an act with a live performance that is one of the greatest shows on earth.

If you want the best experience pay the $10 to skip the line, get your merch while it’s all in stock, & get you a spot in the front because by the time Faygo Armageddon washes off your face paint it’ll change your life.

by Tootsie Fly on 10/21/19House of Blues New Orleans presented by Cricket Wireless - New OrleansHoping to help other 1st time ICP concert goers. Concert started at 9, but didnt see ICP until 12. No need to rush. Green Jelly is awful. For ICP, bring ziplock bags for electronics. Faygo gets sprayed everywhere. They also launch half filled 2 liters into the air spraying faygo. Watch out for those. I got hit in the face and ny glasses were knocked off (i was able to find them before they got damaged). So be aware and maybe wear contacts or pick up your glasses. Also, dont stand in the middle unless you want to be part of a mosh pit. I had no idea what this was, so fair warning for other newbies, people push and shove each other. Stand on the outside of crowd to avoid this. ICP itself was worth the wait. Show was amazing. Dont be afraid to wear clown makeup. Many people do. Also have a change of clothes or towels in your car. You will need them!
