Christian deathcore band Impending Doom have a message of faith and hope to deliver—and they want to deliver it as loud as possible. The band refers to its style as “gorship” (a blend of the words gore and worship), which translates into thrillingly intense, thematically dark, and sonically aggressive live concerts performed by a group of talented and humble musicians who readily give all the credit to a higher power. BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Hailing from Riverside, California, Impending Doom released their 2007 debut album Nailed. Dead. Risen. to critical acclaim and a No. 46 spot on the Billboard Top Heatseekers chart, prompting a national tour. Metal fans were blown away by the band’s expertly crafted songs and hard-hitting yet redemptive messages, and the band soon had a devoted following that enthusiastically spread the word about their sound. More successful albums followed including There Will Be Violence (2010) and Death Will Reign (2013), each accompanied by nationwide tours.
