Huey Mack born Joseph Dalton Michael in Morgantown, West Virginia, started getting into music and hip-hop production at age 14 and began toying with the idea of music as a half-hearted hobby for most of his time in high school. By age 17, Mack began taking himself more seriously as an artist and eventually started releasing a series of free digital mixtapes. A Boy Named Hue eventually gained a cult like following and Mack did his own headline touring, which would eventually be reflected upon in his 2013 independently released full-length album Pretending Perfection which sat at #8 on the Billboard Top Rap Albums and #89 on the Billboard 200 and was co-produced with hitmaker Louis Bell. Since the success of his debut Huey has continued to experiment and push the envelope of his sound which shows through his new country-inspired album "The Cozy Bar" that features Brad Paisley, Charles Wesley Godwin, and Lauren Weintraub. Huey has worked with a wide variety of artists including Akon, Mod Sun, mike. f.k.a Mike Stud, Afrojack, Bone Thugs n Harmony, Twista and Goody Grace. He has also toured with artists such as Kendrick Lamar, Steve Aoki, Waka Flocka Flame, mike f.k.a and J- Cole.
