Hootie & the Blowfish formed in South Carolina between four college friends in 1986. After landing on their permanent lineup of guitarist and vocalist Darius Rucker, guitarist Mark Bryan, bassist Dean Felber, and drummer Jim “Soni” Sonefeld, the group released their debut album Cracked Rear View in 1995. The album became a smash hit behind three Top 10 singles, “Hold My Hand,” "Let Her Cry" and "Only Wanna Be with You" and reached No. 1 on the Billboard 200 on its way to becoming the highest selling album of 1995. Cracked Rear View, which has been certified platinum 21 times, remains one of the best-selling albums of all-time in the U.S. Hootie & the Blowfish won two Grammys, including Best New Artist, in 1996 and released their sophomore effort Fairweather Johnson later that year, marking their second No. 1 debut. Beginning in 2008, the band went on hiatus while Rucker pursued a solo career in country music, and reunited in 2019 for their sixth album, Imperfect Circle.?

Hootie and the blowfish was amazing! They sounded just like the did if you heard them on the radio! I am so glad we got to see them. We would see them again for sure!!!
First time I attended this Amphitheater and i just hated the uncomfortable seats. We then decided to ask if we could move up to reserved seating since not too many seats were occupied. The usher told us once the concert started that would be fine. Doing so made it more enjoyable. It also took we so long to actually have tickets sent to my phone. Please note these tickets were purchased close to a year before the concert. I feel I shoukd have had them in my possession a lot sooner.
I saw Darius during his solo tour in 2022. Sound was great as was the show and the band. You could hear the vocals and the band together in a nice mix. The mix and sound was not very good for this show. Hard to hear the vocals and the band was way too loud. Saw Match Box 20, REO and Train at Mid Florida and the shows were great with the sound being excellent. I have to add ELO three weeks ago in an arena and the sound was excellent. Sad that Hootie felt the sound had to be so loud and the vocals were overpowered. Could have done a better job to make the show more enjoyable.
This entire concert was amazing!! The night was perfect and all of the bands put on an amazing performance! Wow! I love the outdoor venues and this amphitheater is so nice. Vendors and staff were great. It's well managed. I would see this one again! Thanks

The whole concert experience was top notch. Darius was fantastic. VERY intertaining the whole show. It was something that , when it was over it made everyone feeling a sense of togetherness and happy. That’s all I heard leaving the show. If you get a chance to see them don’t pass it up.
Ticket purchase was easy. Upgraded close parking was worth it for the exit. The venue made it a challenge to get to the lot. The fast lane entry was a waste of money. No instructions on how to use it. Ended up not being able to use it since the parking lot was far away from the entrance and I wasn’t given a time frame to use it. I was told I was late and the worker couldn’t show me where to find the instructions.
