This tournament in earlier years had a non hockey vibe. It was more like a Bucks game. Now it was more like a college hockey tournament. Suggestions: "I wanna drive a Zamboni", "Cotton-eye Joe" Just some ideas...
Had great seats. Enjoyed the games and days in Milwaukee.
I am a long time season ticket holder for UW Hockey and I have been a fan for most of my life. The games themselves were great and it is fantastic to have winter college hockey back in Milwaukee. I think that the announcements and other extracurricular fan activities during the games could use a little touch of Madison. Spend 5 minutes at a Badger home game and you will know what I mean. Wind or lose you will have a great time at any game in Madison just watching the crowd. That's MHO
Good college hockey at a nice venue, but still staged and marketed like four individual games. To get good seats, had to buy individual dates, as the tournament packages were all relegated to the corners from the get go. Limited concessions, and for a holiday tournament where kids are out of school, no ice cream, or kid oriented snacks or activities available. No merchandise, which seems especially odd at a tournament sponsored by a retail chain. All of the specialty food venues were closed, and there was no coffee to be found. Had to watch repeated adds for "delicious Kwik Trip fried chicken"and then settle for run of the mill stadium food (bring some in to sell maybe?). Don't get me wrong, I'll go again, but for a marketing savvy outfit like Kwik Trip, the event experience still falls a little short.
My wife and I are avid hockey/Badger fans. We very much enjoyed the Kwik Trip Holiday Face-Off. The Fiserv Forum is a wonderful venue. Easy to get to. Easy to get around inside. The digital tickets were hassel free. The seats are the most comfortable we have ever sat in. Consessions are expensive, but easy to use. The staff at Fiserv are respectful and courteous. The only disappointment was that no Holiday Face-Off merchandise was available for purchase. We will attend again in the future.
Fiserv is a great venue to see a game. Easy to navigate and good seats everywhere in the house.
Great games and nice seating set up. Would have been nice to see a few more options for food
First off the hockey was fantastic!! As far as the location at the Fiserv. Not impressed. I normally carry a small flashlight with me every day. It is not a laser pointer. I was denied entry due to the flashlight. I had to walk back to my car, about a mile round trip. The food and drink highly overpriced for the quality. Im hoping they will be back at the arena next year
Great seats. Good action. The taxes was more then the actual ticket. Good beer
